I bought a Bmw M3 E92 Coupe and fully tuned it and left a stock exhaust (it doesn't make a significant difference anyways) and tinkered with the first gear a bit. IT WAS 🤬 AMAZING. It handled very well! The car had no understeer or oversteer, it was perfect. and the acceleration, OHMAHGAWD. For 534 hp and 190mph tops, the acceleration was very fast! i highly recommend this car for thrill seekers!

I do agree it is very well rounded, although the level it's at among the cars in this game means it doesn't get so much justice as it could. I assume you'll be looking at an M3 GTS replica soon, no? :sly:

Quote from my review (it's one of the 11 cars in there):

The M3 here is a very good car, with all the ingredients for a good drive in this game. Enough performance, speed, handling and driveability to make it a great car in almost any situation.

Yes I agree, it's an amazing car one of my favourites. I have already got my GTS replica! :dopey:

Very fun to drive around Nordschleife.

Its a very very fun car.

Before the spec 2.0 settings sheet i had 2 of them.

1 is for drift and pretty much stock except a few suspension settings and 1 was my full on racing version.

Very fun to drive around Nordschleife.

GTS replica is fantastic. Got one too. As a matter of fact, I just saw one irl today in my street. Amazing car.

Agreed, what I truly enjoy in the M3 is the level of control it gives you, it's just grin-inducing precision. The way it transitions from grip to oversteer is superbly soft and predictable and the steering is much like telepathy.

One of my favourite cars in the game. 👍

Yes indeed, that is actually how a real BMW also feels.
Just a bit more snap back to not drifting in real but the steering itself is unbelievable sensational, even a 318 delivers this in real.
They nailed the car for what was possible in GT. 👍

I always have understeer with this car, even with the back spoiler set to the lowest setting... It can be fast when I've got enought weight to move to the back but it's to heavy that way.

To be quite honest I prefer the premium 1 series. The M3 just feels a little too heavy for me. It's a real shame we don't have the 1M.
I'll have to try the M3 fully tuned, maybe with less weight it will feel better. Although it does a good job of rotation when turning it just doesn't feel right for me.

Me too 👍

Wouldn't an M3 dlc pack sell well????????????

E30, E36, Premium E46?? :sly:

I'd love it.

I just bought an E90 M3 this year IRL after an long search and I absolutely love it. I'm now a huge fan of all M3's

Absolutely love my premium M3, brilliant car. That thing was just made for the Nordschleife. Sounds a bit like poo, though.

Just waiting for PD to release a race version for the M3. That and the F430, 458, DB9 and any other proper GT cars I'm missing. The Vette needs some company. Add a premium Ruf with an RM, maybe an MC12 too, and the car list would finally feel complete to me. Oh, wait, I'm rambling again...

I think it's OK with a Sports Exhaust. Luckily, I have the Chrome Line, which comes with Sports Exhaust standard. The Chrome Line is a sort of GTS replica in itself, just with GT advertising and some silver stripes.

I got M1 Replica just like that

Are you sure? :dopey:

Hanyway, I'm a bigger fan of the E46, although it is a Standard. The CSL is cracking on the NĂĽrburgring, but the GTR (road car) is a bit safe. What swings it, I think, is that the E90 is a touch heavier than the E46, which is already "too heavy", really.

Glad it's not just me! The M5 also handles very, very well. In real life, even a garden variety 328 sedan is very satisfying to drive. It's a bit uncanny how PD managed to capture that.

Yeah, the 330i on Comfort Mediums is excellent fun! :dopey:
Really nice power and torque from the engine, and the chassis is well balanced.

It's true, this car is a beast!

It's fast and easy to handle...

I highly recommend it to anyone who's just looking for a fast, easy car to drive.

What i don't like about it though....it's just too good! lol

There isn't really much fun for most veteran drivers looking for challenge!

Out of curiosity recently I tried tuning the M3 to have the same weight as the CSL and then de-tuned the M3 engine to match them both at 500pp.

The M3 gets to keep more horsepower and is a tad faster, but still I find the CSL has much better grip on corners and would give me better lap times (i.e. an easier car to drive.)

The M3 sure is fun to drive though :) And I see it's a frequent winner online with the right setup too.
