I think I'd be cool. I'm always up for your racing series even if they don't work(rally series) lol. Time is my biggest issue though, cant do weekdays anymore cuz I'm working overtime to pay for the ridiculous bill for my house!
 
Yup. As long as there are less than 16 cars itll all be in one lobby

And that was a shame cahill... I had high hopes for that!

The time will probably be right after the VSCS
 
We should start making a set of rules, Start date n times I believe

Z4 ’03 (500)

Rules/Regulations:
Cars are to be prepared to the designated performance level above
All mods are available, so tune to your liking
Tires will be Racing Hard
No aids aside from TCS and ABS will be allowed
Penalties - Light
Damage - Light
Tire Wear - On
Racers must follow the guidelines listed in the GTP OLR**
Punting, cutting, and other frowned upon shenanigans will result in 20 seconds being added to final race time, and loss of whatever positions that may bring
Use common sense. It's not hard.

Schedule/Dates/Race Length
TBD
Races will (more than likely) be at 8pm EST Saturdays in my lounge and be from 12-24 laps, or 30min

**Accidents happen. If you are a part of an incident you are not required to slow up and give the position back. Keep Racing. The incident will be reviewed by a third party individual and penalties given (if necessary)
 
Well I'll be running in both the 500 and 550. Wil be using the z4 M on 500. 550 undecided yet
 
I dunno how you'll manage to run two cars at once ;)
I think that will only be an option if we get more than 16 participants, and then only your best finish in out of the two for any given week counts for points.

BTW, for a better idea of what this series will look like check out my Vintage Series. That should give you an idea as to the final format

No need to hurry. I won't be ready to start this one up for a little while yet. I need to get everything settled over in the VSCS first.

Don't mind at all.

What do you think about November 5th (first Saturday of the month) at 8pm Est for the beginning of the series? That way I have plenty of time to get it all set up and perfected, and have some time to make sure the VSCS is all settled as well. I could/may move that date forward, but it will be on Saturday evenings.
 
How far away are you from gmt?
Just so I can work out what time it would be?
 
I think about 6 hours earlier here, so thatd be like 4am for you roughly
It'd be awful late for you there.
I can make some accommodations, but it'll either have to be at 4 or at 8Est, if it's on Saturday.
 
November seems pretty far away. Why not October?
 
Yikes! Not sure I can do a Saturday evening event.
 
Same. I don't think Saturdays work out too well for me. Siblings and they're needs to play too. :ouch:
 
I have another series that is just getting under way, and I have two real race cars now both with blown engines that need to be worked on. I'll try to push re date forward, but I have a lot to keep up with right now.

I can do late Sunday if that'd be better.
 
Can't do Sundays either. Only early in the morning of Sundays that is. (EST)
 
Well shoot.
At this point the only times that reasonably work for me are Saturday round 8, Sunday round 8, and maybe Thursday again at 8
 
I'll see about Saturdays. I might be able to push it in. Just might, depends on the flexibility on my siblings "schedule."

I'm going to have to check my TV schedule to see if I can fit it in but I hope I can join. I've been wanting to race my 1 Series Tii for the longest. I love that car.

Sounds good to me.

I'm gonna design a OP then create a thread for it in the racing section. If any of you can get me, or help me take a racing picture of a group of the production BMWs that'd be awesome
 
The BMWCCA will be pairing with us in December at Roebling Road. I'm pretty stoked for that, cause I love running with those guys.

Sorry man but can't do Thursdays. Work to about 10 on the weekdays and that's about 12-1 o'clock EST time. Like I said before this house is just way to expensive for us(me and my bro live together). Might be moving though so that could free my schedule. I mean honestly, do we really need 7 rooms? Lol
