BMW Z4 - Lightning off the Blocks!

I've known about this for a while. Loved the car in GT5 then I did some research. Turns out max torque is achieved at only 1600 RPM's! That's almost idle speed. Pound-for-pound the fastest off the start!
 
Sorry bub, conducted my own research and... Citroen GT concept =1808lbs torque at 1000rpm's!!!!!
 
the Z4M is one of my favorite cars to drive, if not my favorite, tied with the NSX, LFA Scuderia and ZR1, all so fun, honestly my favorite of this set is the one im driving at the moment
 
It's the Z4 M and all E46 BMW M3 have the same S54 motor. Enjoy virtually or in reality...

One of the first cars I could afford the first time around. Very nice to drive and very stable. Helped me get a handle on virtual driving!

I saw that they had introduced the LFA at Nuburgring last year or the year before. It did very well gave the Porches a run for their money.

Just bought one and fully tuned it. It's a fun little car but all the power is mainly in the first gear, some in second but when it gets to third you might as well be in a Civic :indiff:
 
How so? Mine will crack 190 under its own power around daytona.. it does 196 down the back straight still pulling (barely but still, and i havent really fine tuned the gears so there may be more muscle in it).. u must be missing a part or something

Regardless i still prefer the stock car

Well say for example you didn't know what car it was and you could only see the bumper cam, from 0 - 40mph (first gear) you would probably think it was a fully tuned supercar with over 800 horsepower, it really does accelerate that fast with all the torque. However it's not so impressive after 2nd gear in my opinion, after all it does only have less than 500bhp.

Did you get the right one? There the Z4 and Z4M (about $94k). Get the M.
 
I proved the Z4M's metal today. I like to do the level 20 Schwarzwald race focusing on Nurburgring. The competition is anywhere from 520-571 HP. Normally the Audi R8 at 571HP will breakout from the pack and take a lead. Normally I can't catch him until the roundabout. I like to use different cars, on most occasions its the 500HP BMW M5. I decided to change it up so I bought a Z4M and a Mercedes SL55 AMG. Tuned the Z4 to 425HP. Ran the Z4M first on Hard Racing tires. The Zip, lightning acceleration and tight turning radius allowed me to grab the lead by the turn north. From there it was OVER! Finished over 9 secs ahead.

Did the same run in the SL-55 at 500HP and again didn't catch the leader until the roundabout. It's got a lot of horses but not the same lightning acceleration. What I'd like to do next is go head to head with a stock Lexus IS-F.

Definitely am a FAN of the Z4M! :)
 
Had a really good experience with it today. Bought a new one (now I have 2) max tuned it and added a rear aero kit. Got it to 445 HP. Ran Nuburgring in the last championship event on the Pro level. The competition, Zonda, Mutul Autec, Ford Mk IV, Calsonic. These are all upwards of 545 HP race cars and super GTs.

The thing about the Z4M is it's rapid acceleration followed by it's nimble handling. It's like Michael Jordan dartin' in and out past several guys to the hoop and layin' it in while switching hands at the last second.

It's small enough to pass other cars with just a sliver of road. Off the turn it will blow by other cars. I do have video and will post it. It won this race, after grabbing the lead just after the turn north. And even though it was outmatched on the final straight, it won the race.

It'll beat just about anything in a short track drag race.
 
BMW Z4 M is definantly one of my favourite cars, so much in fact that I currently own 4 in game and am seriously contemplating buying one in real life. A friend of mine has a Z4 convertible 3.0 and that performs well in its own respect but like a couple of the guys here have said it does die in the ass after 3rd gear.

dying in 3rd gear is better than the entire brand's purity dying in ANY gear... just look at the fat lump that is the current Z4

Amen. If it's not broken, don't fix it. Would've been nice if they'd left alone for a few more years. The styling of this car in real life makes me happy in my no-no areas! I want a coupe though, as I think it offers a more pure and enthusiast-friendly experience. With a convertable, I'd look like every other douche in Oakleys, polo shirt, and bluetooth...

cept... they're driving Audis now, right?

^this.. and Lexuses as well... my friend wont shut the 🤬 up about his lexuses.. and then my Pilot will school his RXs in the snow or somewhere else (he got one of the RXs stuck and killed the battery trying to get it out last winter, my car was driving around the same snowy lot with minimal fuss.. it was pathetic) and he will start making excuses..

Just remind him that if it's not an LF-A, it's a glorified Camry.

I have one as a drifter hehe

I only got 6 as drifter xD.

blue ( interlagos blau metallic ), reflex purple, maziora everest, gold ( first time i had that ugly colour ), maziora mazeran, black and a normal Z4 black.

Awsome NA car.
