and wow ... if the trailer is representative of the real thing ... wow :drool::drool::drool:

(note to mods: not sure if this should be posted here or in the "Movies" section, but I wanted petrolheads to know about it first ... moviegoers second :D ... anyway, move the thread if this isn't the right place for it)

These sort of films are awesome, I remember watching one with Peugeot at Le Mans.

Do you know when this will be released?

November 1st on Blu Ray.

Awesome I can't wait for the release :D

I think germans will be lucky enough to watch this in selected cinemas. Can only imagine ... the big screen, surround cinema sound ... pure awesomeness

What could makes this movie an awesome one? The director. Tim and Nick Hahne - I watched their short BMW M3 24 Hours of Nurburgring video last year, it put me into tears with the details and everything. I think this one should be a whole lot better. Shame though as it could be awesomer if BMW actually win the race...

Looking forward for it, undoubtedly!

damn, just looking at the trailer I had goosebumps. I'lll have to try to get this.

Ohyes, this one is a must!

Interesting you say that, this one actually moved me in a weird way too I think.

Something I really want to do in my life is the 24 Hours of Nurburgring.

Nice👍

November 1st in the U.S.? Where can I get it? off the internet?

My copy arrived this morning and I had to watch it right away:-) Thanks to this forum for drawing my attention to it.

It has been the first 24 hours race I visited back in June and besides the freaking cold and wet wheather from Thursday to Saturday (what did I expect:-) ) it was an awesome experience. I started to visit VLN races afterwards and will for sure go on watching those races at the ring.

The movie itself is pretty good in my opinion. Maybe the part about the race could have been a little longer but this is probably just me loving to see as much race action as possible:)
Otherwise I really liked all the background information and filming from drivers getting ready, testing on different tracks and the work of the mechanics. The atmosphere especially on the race weekend is really good and you feel like standing in the pits next to the cars and drivers getting all the emotions.

I ordered the Blu-ray and the quality is worth it. This might be as well just me cause I do not have too many Blu-rays but it is such a difference to non-HD programs.

There is some additional material on the disc. For me the most important part was for sure the onboard lap around the whole track.

I hope my little review is providing some impressions to maybe make the decision easier whether to buy it or not. :)

I want it, but I have no idea on were to get it in the U.S.

If this is hitting the theaters then I am THERE.

Does anyone know where to get this movie in the U.S.? I was told it came out on Blu-ray November 1st in the U.S. Did it even come out here? I searched all over the internet and he sites i find are only in Europe. I can't find it in any U.S. Store.

iTunes? Truth in 24 is there, but that's from Audi in 2010.

I have been looking for this movie too. Just checked iTunes to no avail. Something tells me that it is only an European release.

I have the Audi Truth in 24 on my Iphone, but I wonder how Audi went to the U.S. and BMW didn't?

The Truth In 24 documentary was originally commissioned by Audi of America. BMW might just think that not enough interest in Nurburgring 24 Hours in the US. I really dont know.

Exactly true. Totally lame that no one cares here.

Lol jk

Could you import it?

I'm definitely interested in this as well. Please post here if you all find out anything about it coming to the States.

I will be keeping an eye on this film for the time being.
