This show is hilarious if you haven't watched it yet stop wasting time.

What are you missing?

Tina: Our father got stuck in the wall.
Mr Frond: Is that how your father died?
Tina: Dad's dead?
Louise: Good job Mr. Frond! We were going to tell her on Father's day - now we have nothing to do on Father's day!

I actually watched that episode after a mate made me, I wasn't that impressed to be fair 👎

Maybe I'll watch another sometime..

Not much, apparently.

@nine-hundred: Yeah the first 3 episodes are forgettable just like the early episodes of any series.. but the last couple are comedy gold trust me.

@interludes: You can't tell me that quote didn't make you laugh. I know it's funny.

and I haven't seen archer but I heard it's funny. That guys voice makes any show funny, ex. Home Movies, ATHF, Bob's Burgers. These are facts people.

I've seen it...not impressed at all...and that quote didnt even get a smile out of me.... :/

I've watched it strictly for H. Jon Benjamin because he's incredibly funny, but the rest of the cast just isn't there. The kids' jokes are far too many & annoyingly unfunny (why are all them portrayed as stupid?), and I don't think Jon gets enough dialogue for his jokes like he does on Archer.

Granted I haven't watched it for a few weeks, but that's just my opinion on it.

^ Same here. H. Jon Benjamin is as spot on as usual, but from the couple of episodes I have seen he only rarely gets enough material for it to make a difference. He could probably carry the show by himself (and the scenes he isn't in make it seem like he should), but they don't put enough emphasis on him for him to do so.

I can't convince you guys to like the show. But, I will try to persuade you. This show is the closest to simpsons in that the humour is more about dry wit than sensational circumstances.

Instead of thinking of the kids as stupid think of the kids as trying to be annoying on purpose. or just think of them as kids and not as characters that have to say something an adult would say.

I've watched a few episodes, and have not laughed once except for one instance. When the, er, husky kid was wearing the burger suit at the baseball stadium and racing the mascots, the man with the microphone asked him who he was representing. He forgot, which in turn set Bob off, sending him into a frenzy of screaming, "Bob's Burgers! You live right above it! Ahhhh!" and then when the kid remembered, it was too late. I laughed until I cried.
