Jaywalker, if its possible to send the replay to my psn, I own a Hauppauge HD PVR 1212 and it records in 1080i HD.

I kept being told that I need a capture card, which I don't have. So we recorded it on my son's phone.

Meet A. Aguilar (aka Bob the cheat) - my new hero here

He's on share on my profile if anyone wants to check. :)

For future reference.... A good guide to sharing GT5 replay files: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=239169

It is a bit of reading at first but it's actually a fairly simple process. However the replay files themselves can get quite large very quickly as the laps mount, so as far as I know sharing just the relevant bit of a long race is still problematic without a video capture device. The thread isn't linked in the "read this first" thread but it wouldn't be a bad choice for inclusion.

Fixed the link, Jaywalker :)
Make sure when sharing replay, both parties have the same GT5 disc region. Look for the spine code on the case, BCUSxxxx - US version,

There is a way to record what your doing same as a PVR recorder. I don't have the link but type in at YouTube, How to make an game recorder from a camcorder. Its easy and costs about 5 bucks. Hope it helps.

but thanks for the link and info.

So I set one of my (depressed) Bobs up to do the Laguna 200 mile enduro to try & get the oil in my GTR '09 dirtied up a bit for the last night of the Nurb TT. At the start the AI in P1 to P5 are jockeying for position leading up to turn 1. Bob, in P6, heads into the pits & I immediately start cursing him for being an idiot.

Next thing, I nearly fall off my chair. Bob takes the short-cut via the pit lane & exits in P1! I canned myself laughing. From villain to hero in 1 easy move!

Anyone else ever caught their Bobs cheating?

Bob The Cheater, can he cheat it?
Bob The Cheater, yes he can!

I don't even use B-Spec because I see no point in it.

Man Enzo.. that story is hilarious. Any other good stories from Bspec experience here?

Well... we have that historic supercar race (is that the name?) at Côte d'Azur. I gave Bob the Toyota 7 and told him to win the race, but he too was depressed. He kept crashing into chicanes and stuff and said that he was tired of Gran Turismo and that he'd much rather want to be an AI in Grand Theft Auto. "Okay", I said, "what if I put a dead body in the trunk of your car, will you win the race then?". Bob said he'd give it a go, so I added 100 kg of ballast to the back of the car and that made Bob so enthusiastic that he drove like a God and won the race!

He must have thought the Cops were after him. :sly:
