Bob's driving skills SUCK

There I said it... :yuck:

My bob is level 15 and drives the Minolta Racing Car. One would think you'd be able to automatically overtake the entire pack by the first bend? (I'm doing the Japanese Championship btw...)

WRONG! :grumpy:

Bob will ONLY overtake on the straight and even that, he spends his own damn time scratching his backside rather than slipstreaming and overtaking. 👎

Lapping other drivers is also a problem...
Unless it's another straight, he'll happily crawl behind the car until there's a space... Forget about overtaking 4+ cars! :lol:

Anyone else frustrated with the appalling AI? :ouch:
 
Both my Bob's have blue arrows. I know they won't race aswell as a human player, but cmon.....

It's just taking the piss! :(

I feel the only way to beat the challenges is having an immensely powerful car, meeting the minimum requirements does not suffice.
 
Create another Bob, who is 'hot'. 'Hot' type Bobs will overtake more aggressively.
'Cool' Bobs just follow the racing line and wait for an opportunity.
