This is my second attempt at making this thread, my first failed, so here we are. :D

This is my second ever completed chop. I had an idea of swapping bodies between cars, so I tried these two. I never thought they'd fit so nicely though! ;)

I call this creation the "Mercarrari CLK-360" for good reason - it's got the body of a Mercedes CLK with the top of a 'Rari 360GT.

What do you think? I'll post the originals at the top, then my chopped picture below.

Original #1:

Original #2:

And now finally, the chop!

If you're referring to the different colour on top than bottom, that was deliberate - I thought it looked quite good. :D

What rear-vision mirror? Are you talking about the mirror on the side, the one that is black?

Take a photo and highlight what you mean. :odd:

Ah, whatever its called. I'm not thinking straight. Look around the edge of the window - it's red. It should be grey/silver.

Ahh well, enough pointing out of mistakes! Remember, strange though it may seem to mere mortals like yourselves, I am not perfect!

Mercarrari? :odd:

It's took a looooooonnnnnnnngggggggg time to load (56K) :grumpy: Anyway, hey! Not a bad chop at all. Now it's my turn to chop the Merc :D

What should I do....... hmm.....

Maybe another LM? Gullwing doors?

Nah, that's not original any more. :D

See, how can you add the part and then get it the same colour with shadows and stuff still there...because that's what I can't do!

Easy peasy - highlight the area that you want to change the colour of with the polygon lasso, then go Image > Adjust > Channel Mixer. Play with the colours until you get the one you want.

Thanks to epic for that! :D

For some weird reason the 1st original (Fudgerari) looks "chopped" in itself :odd:

very nice for a second chop, reminds me kind of like a Vanquish (looking at the roof going towards the rear). 👍 keep it up

Nah, I can't do it...:irked: Anyway, thanks for helping Jon, and epic...:)

I'm proud as of this, hey. I especially like the part below the window, that looks boss.

Hey Jon, where did you get these pictures in the first place?
