Bollards!!!! Love em' or Hate em'?

How many of you guys have upset your car because you hit a bollard on the track? Here's one (in the red box) at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. These guys like to come in pairs of two and four.

It's happened to me before. Usually my car has to be going at the right speed and hit the damn thing at the right angle and the bollard gets under my car and I momentarily lose control.

I might lose a position because of it, or cause a pile up.
99% of the time I can get away with running over it. Or just hitting it.

They don't seem to cause me issues outside of invalidating laps in time trials.

Love them. Proper track limits - shame they're phasing them out of real-life motorsport.

I think they should have a design that sits under the track, with the bollard made of polystyrene. Then every time it's taken out, it regrows itself. Of course you'll need some kind of race interruption to clear up the tiny bits every time one gets destroyed...

I like them as a visual reference. I rarely hit them so can't say they're a problem at all.
