Oooh I've never driven a minivan :( It'd be great if the car filled up with water after a while :D

The kubelwagon is much too easy to drive. How about something really sadistic....something completely homicidal to drive. Shelby Cobra 427 comes to mind....also available on arcade mode.

I did it in Practice/Nurb Nord/change weather/change time.

Really crappy drivers would never make it around in the Cobra!

I was going to do the Bus, but I didn't have one!

There less than 72,000CR

If your Mad ( I maybe ) you can Tune them to Over 210 BHP , but they act a bit silly after that

The Samba is 72,000. I have a stock one and a fully modded one with some suitable alloys and also the "aero" mods (chunkier bumpers/fenders). It does look rather silly in replays with the speed it goes.

I think I fulfil all except the mini-van requirement. Games should definitely be fun. Not entirely convinced a wet run around the 'Ring in a Kubelwagen is exactly fun, but I will give it a go. Why not make it really "interesting" and go for the old 2CV. I watched the demo of mine and it came to complete standstill on a hill on the demo track it was using.

Oops another screw up by me then , but 72,000 for that Classic (pile of poo) powerhouse is still a Bargain

Think i'll buy a Standard one stick Comfort Softs on it , no drivng aids and see what it'll do in a Practise Race on the Nurburgring a Change Weather Route with 7 Others

Should be a Major panel Bender i reckon

Can you imagine 16 Of us online with Mics and Beer

Yeah, I didn't think the Kubelwagen was going to make it up some of those hills at 22 HP/725 kg! I'm not at the PS3 right now, is the 2CV even less powerful? It sounds like we may have Bonus Races 3b & 3c. [censored], why didn't PD think of these?

Because there not as Sadistic as we are

Oh count me in sir although I only have my modified Drift Samba and once I start driving it I can't help but attempt drift on every corner - how many corners in Nurburgring again?

That's another reason to deploy the 'wagen, it's got a spare t(i)(y)re right there on the hood. I think it's there to enhance the aerodynamics.

Yes I would love to see more ridiculous seasonal races including the drift trials. Maybe Suzuka East in a Jay Leno Tank car only or something like that. How bout drift Tsubuka in a Fiat 500?

Come on PD let your hair down and hit us with some crazy!

Whats stopping us from Orginising a Silly Race Series Ourselves ?

Get enough People intrested and it'll be funny as hell 👍

The 2CV is 10 BHP. I once overtook an F40 with a 2CV in an online race. (crash in the first corner)

Just an Idea ?

Not meant to Hijack buziii great idea , its his fault I suddenely thought of this idea aswell  Bonus Race 3D for :dunce: maybe

But how about a under 50 BHP Challenge

Pick any Car you Like but it has to be Under 50 BHP

No Aero Mods Allowed

One Control Tyre for all Cars ( to be decided ? )

No Custom Transmissions

But free on Engine Mods as long as it stays under the 50 BHP Limit

Track would be the Nurburgring Change Weather Route in Time Trial . 1 Lap Only

Or if enough of us are Mad enough a 3 Lap Race Online ?

Shame the benz from 1886 isn't in. Remember mission 35? from GT4? no. go find it. could have done that.

Very true, the only thing stopping us is laziness as it would require some work to organise such an event. I can see it now though, 12 Samba buses waddling around nurburg about to start the race then a clown shows up in an X1 and ruins the fun. I guess there is always the kick button.

You can set up a horsepower limit i think.

There is a way round that Mate . you make sure you have a Agreed Start time .

Once the Race ( ok so calling 12-16 Samba Bues Racing might be a big stretch of the imaganation but what the hell eh ) Starts no one can join in .

So its down to Timing 👍

Oh and to stop people cheating as its only for fun there would be a Claiming Rule .

But because you can't actually gift CR it would have to be something just as silly as the Race Series

So how about a Diahatsu Midget .

If you think someone is being naughty a Race Steward can ask that they send there Car to him for Inspection . If it meets the Rules then he sends it back and the Person who called foul forfiets the Midget to the Accused .

But if there Car is found to be Naughty then they get the Midget and there Car gets crushed....oops I meant Deleted

I've never raced online, but I'd be willing to give it a try. Timing may be difficult, since some of us are many time zones apart.

BTW - I think it's funny that this thread is currently competing with "Seasonal Events - now officially ruined". Personally, I'd rather post here.

Yeah I think timing would be the only big issue. I guess if you wanted to get real organised you could race in a private lounge instead to rule out any idiots joining.

I guess it would be easy enough just place restrictions so everyone would have roughly the same stats on the car.

I wouldn't be worried about a reward it would just be fun to do it but maybe the last place person could gift a car to the first place person or something. With the save game exploit it wouln't even be a big deal to give a car away to the winner

The prize is, the one who's last has to keep the car. Everyone else can gift it to him. Hahahaha

Dammit :grumpy:

I just took a Bog Stock Samba Bus with all its Rip Snorting 32 BHP Round the Nurburgring 24HR Change Weather Route in 18:34.306

Used the Stock Tyres aswell Comfort Mediums

It might've been easier to time the Lap with a Sun Dial but it got a bit Dark on the Track towards the end

I might get quicker if I use manual gearing aswell :dunce:

Maybe I could knock a few Mins off at least

I used a manual transmission in my Kubelwagen, but it didn't matter. I kept the "hammer" down all the way around, no need to shift. In fact, no need for brakes either.
