Eligible cars: Any road-going Honda Civic (i.e. no Spoon)
Total time for leading AI: 13:28.689
Average lap time to beat leading AI: 2:41.734
Total payout for 1st: 255,500Cr

I used a bone stock Civic Type-R EK '97 that is a prize car. No oil change. Passed the leader (an Alfa Romeo 156) at the Esses on the final lap.

Same car but with oil change. I made some big mistakes but passed the alfa at the beginning of the final lap. Using cockpit view as always. SRF is acctually quite ok on FWD cars

2008 Type R stock, passed the leader I think half way through last lap....I really don't like having the SRF on but it certainly made the understeer easier to manage...just crank the steering and the the red tire do its work...lol

I wasn't really there for the challenge. I all ready had the RM honda and just hopped in that little guy. Needless to say, I got the lead pretty quick and didn't come close to giving it up.

I also used the Civic Type R '97 prize car. I think I had an oil change and a slightly better set of tires but that was it. Had no issues taking the win.

I thought this was a fun event. The Type R is a great car IMO.

Me too....👍

My goal was producing sub 1 minute laps at Tsukuba, not racing against idiots....:D

Won it with a suped up Civic 3 Door '78 hatchback on sport hard, 150hp or so if I remember right.

I used the Civic 97 EK, I actually already had it in my garage with a couple upgrades(that put me around 250-300 hp if I remember correctly) very fun race, made a few minor mistakes and took 1st midway thru lap 4.

i used the ek 97 type r with racing mediums and brought everything bar race suspension/race box/dif/lsd(only ever buy the race box if i top out too early) with it tuned to around 245hp and was no problem at all to win lol..

I have to say that, even though it was an easy win in the RM'd 97 Civic... i really am not a fan of the cars handling. Waaay to much understeer... even after playing around with the suspension settings. All the RM cars that I've driven so far have had stellar handling... except the Civic :ouch:

Yea its a bit of a moo for that but I use the handbrake on those tight turns to great effect!

Used the 97 EK Type R - Had to bump it up to 194HP / 402PP to take the win. Made some mistakes and won by 3 seconds so really didn't need all that power but had no shot in the stock car :(
