I feel the need to give an excellent review for a certain laptop bag manufacturer.

They make really great stuff. I've had my hands on the 17" and 14" PowerSleeve bags which are really nice. If you just want something to keep your laptop safe while you lug it around, this is the way to go. It's a no-nonsense bag that will hold any Apple laptop snug-tight, and most other brands as well (they're all about the same anyway) Highly recommended.

But don't expect to put much else in them. (:

Well, the sleeves aren't backpacks. They're very snug fitting bags spacifically designed for the Apple line, though admittedly they fit most anything. They use very high quality outer fabric, and the shell is made of some heavy duty impact reducing stuff. You could probably hit it with a baseball bat and the bag would reduce the blow by a factor of ten. It's also nice and snug so the laptop doesn't bounce around inside the bag causing the load to shift and be uncomfortable.

If you look at moving companies, the ones that move people's stuff from one house to another, they don't tend to get a big truck and set things in the middle, strapping them down. That doesn't work. They get the right sized truck and wedge everything in snuggy tight so it doesn't get damaged. These sleeves work the same way.

I looked on Targus's website and found their "Messenger" line. They look alright, and are reasonably priced. Actually just a few dollars cheaper than Booq. But they don't look as sturdy as the Booq Sleeves.

I have heard of them before. I heard they were a really good company, and I guess they are. I have no experience with any of their product.
