Since its kind of short notice, I'd be cool with it being 450pp.

450pp, SS, Sarthe/Weather Change

I'll try to open a room 8:30 to 8:45.

Got to go do dad things for now.

Or 9:30 to 9:45 EST.

Rear-engined Rufs in the rain. I'm not serious, but I like the alliteration there.

How about a yellow bird race at the ring? We can up the pp to 500 or 550 or just make it stock, untuned. It comes with SH tires but I think it is a little more realistic for us to use SS tires.

As much as I suck at the ring I need the practice, so why not do it in a difficult car?

We could pick a different track....I love the RUF, and it would be fun to see everyone spinning out then catching back up to spin out again.

...although the "ring" will remove some of the pit stop strategy...since it is so long between stops, just about everyone will probably pit prior to the last lap...but with damage on, we'll probably spend more time limping than anything else...

...so on second thought, lets pick a different track. Maybe cape ring.

Maybe Nurb GP or D?

We did GP/F for the first of these races. I love the track...but others may want something different.

How about Daytona RC?

Does everyone have an untuned Yellowbird? Or do I need to just make this a tuned-to-specific-pp race? My preference is untuned, and I'm pretty sure I have one that I can use.

Yes it will... with boost off, it usually comes down to the FIRST few laps...but with boost on, it is the last couple of laps, assuming you choose the right pit strategy. Everyone has a chance to win...but the event isn't really about winning, it's about racing wheel to wheel and having fun. You can't just push your way to the front and expect to dominate. No matter what you do, someone will be on your tail.

You all have boost on...wouldnt the race just come down to the last couple laps? How long are the races?

It also makes the racing so much closer for the duration. Without it, cars spread out and everyone is turning laps alone.

Ooo ooo ooo. Yellowbird enduro.

Got to be on Nurb. Cape Ring has that jump, and how many times do you want to go over that in a Yellowbird.

I may have extra untuned Yellowbirds for trade if someone needs one.

Edit: I was wrong. That car hates anything with banking or elevation changes. Its almost fun on Monza and Indy Road Course.

I'd be down for such an enduro. RR RUF with tuning prohibited. SS tire are ok, I'd prefer lower grade though. If full damage is on then I'd prefer a somewhat shorter track though. Spa?

Nah, it's perfectly fine on those, just have manage weight transfer more carefully.
