So it's finally happened. I sold my PSP.
And bought a DS.
After a bit of thinking on Saturday i came to the conclusion that what i really want to do is play games, and as i wasn't doing that on my PSP it had to go. Got £160 for the PSP + 2 games which bought me a DS, Mario Kart, Tiger Woods, Tony Hawks and Call Of Duty 2 (on the PC). So i'm in a better position now
Yes the graphics hold nothing on the PSP, and the console itself looks dated, but i don't care. The games are great fun, the touch screen is a nice feature, the microphone hasn't yet proved itself (although blowing up balloons in Mario Kart by blowing into it leads for incredibly funny situations) and in general it is the gaming machine i've been looking for. Didn't half get a funny look from the fella in Gamestation though when i told him what i was planning on doing with the money from the PSP
Mario Kart is just, lyk, zOMG. It is the best handheld game i've played in ages, and to make things even better, my brother has a DS with Mario Kart and i have a wireless LAN at home, so can play lots of multiplayer battles - although even if i didn't the game still allows the inclusion of bots which are surprisingly fun to play with 👍
Tiger Woods is
tough but fun. The touchscreen gameplay requires practive, but once picked up makes for very rewarding gameplay. Love golf games and this is no exception - 80 ft putts and chip-ins are all good fun
Haven't played Tony Hawks yet, but it looks nice (toon style graphics) and my brother informed me after he stole it that it plays very well too.
So now i'm off to petition for a DS/Nintendo section
