Don't know if this happens with you guys but when I use the Camaro RM or the Challenger RM and hit a jump it bounces upon landing. Like really bounces to the point where it looks like I'm using hydralics or glitching somehow. The car will land on it's rear wheels and bounce once or twice while still leaning on it's rear end. If you guys have seen the movie Speed Zone where the Countach skips over the water in the first chase scene that's what it looks like except it's on pavement not water. This problem happens when bob is driving as well (he did like 3-4 laps and it happened on every lap). It also happened today at Cape Ring and caught me off guard which resulted in me promptly crashing into the guard rails. :grumpy: Does this also happen to you guys?

I think it's because of the new update. It's making the suspension look real. In real life the car would bounce so I think they are trying to make that effect.

Hi, Install the fully adjustable suspension (RM cars may have this already) and try: Springs F and R @ about 50%, shocks F/R comp. and ext.@ 6. Anti-roll F/R @7. Front toe angle +0.1, rear toe -0.2. The suspension adjustments will probably help with the "bounce" and the toe will help you recover from a possible spin on landing from being airborne. Take if easy on "Cape Ring" though, that's BIG air!! More downforce should help too...Have fun.

Remember that it's the RM version and they come with racing suspension. The tunes are also ones I got off the tuning forum.

That jump at the Cape (in real life) would have your car bouncing..., especially if you're using a stock vehicle. I've noticed that this jump at the Cape with many vehicles in no way simulates what would really happen with a vehicle catching that much air time.

In real life many cars in GT-5 should bounce to the point of nearly losing control upon landing. Just to use another title as an example (simply for what should happen visually and physically to the car) is S2U. Can't remember the name of the city track.., but WOW! You hit that jump going too fast and BAM! Your vehicle does exactly what it's supposed to once it hits the ground.

As others have suggested.., tighten up those springs. I'd also suggest not hitting those jumps at extremely high speeds too.

Stiffer? I disagree, if the suspension is bouncing, it's too stiff. I understand that the Cape jump is unique, but you have to either reduce the the spring stiffness or the bound and rebound of the car.

soften the rebound of your suspension, and let off the gas halfway up the hill so you dont preload the springs under throttle. i've done flying overtakes on capering on that jump but only bounce in the rangestormer concept and veyron that i set to bounce

Well I tried the settings and it didn't help. I run a SR of 6.4 front and 6.8 rear from Wienish's (I think that's how you spell it) tune. Only other way I can think of is to slow way, way down. You can't even do the jump at 75% throttle. If anyone can, try it out. Take your Camaro or Challenger RM and do the FR seasonal at Cape Ring and you'll see what I'm taking about.

Agree, the rebound has to be slower than the bound and (correct me if im wrong) the rebound has to be set higher (more resistance for the spring to bounce) than the bound.
