What's up guys? I had to take care of some things, but I'm back on a limited basis untill things get more stabilized.
I recently rented a movie that really got me thinking about things in this country; Bowling for Columbine. I'll tell you, I laughed, I cried, this was a VERY well-made movie! I was vaguely aware of Michael Moore untill I saw this movie & I was very impressed with what I saw in the "Special Features".
So let's hear it! What do you think of the movie & Michael Moore?

This movie was put together very well. I liked the cartoon touches that were added to it. It was simply hillarious. The South Park addition and Terry speaking for the town he grew up in. Then the door to door openings in Canada were great too.

Funny movie. But I hate Michael Moore more than anything in the world.

Roger and Me was better. He's apparently going to come out with a "shockumentary" about September 11th, 2001. It'll be called Fahrenheit 911.

I'd suggest you take a read of this before you get all hyped up over "Bowling for Columbine": http://www.bowlingfortruth.com/

Also do a quick search on "Debunking Bowling for Columbine" and see what it turns up.

As good as Micahel Moore claims to be, he's taken his fair share of Artistic liberty with this film.

Holy cow. I had only vaguely heard of Michael Moore before this. I just spent the entire morning reading virtually every word on this site. At this point my sincerest wish is to meet Michael Moore in preson so I can feed him his microphone and put his Canon 'porn-cam' where he apparently does most of his thinking.

I hate Michael Moore. I used to vomit throughout that show something something bla The Truth bla bla something.

Or something.

I saw this one a while ago. and I have read all those links you gave. and altough I dont really like moore's way to do these kinda things, we can surely say that some stuff he says is true, and some is just bull****... erm... artistic license, as some one said. then again, some of the hard facts he gives (numbers, statistics, etc) are somewhat surprising (even more so when you dont live in the US) butI dont think he is saying noithing really new or unknown, the escence of the film is that US society is overrun by violence and bad government and all, and then some stuff, like the cartoons and the interviews ad the K-mart stuff and so on are added just so it will be "shocking" and stuff. it was a nice try, but really, somewhat pointless.

if its true, at least they got kmart stopping selling bullets...
