we all know the grip differences between ssrx and indy, well i have just realised another factor that can alter online vs offline drag performance is tire heat. in ssrx you run with cold unused tires, whereas at indy you always warm them up then come back and do more runs.

so next time you tune for ssrx and want to do well at indy just take that into thought and make small changes accordingly, hopefully this will help a few offline tuners do better online :)

I have noticed that I bog when I shouldnt once my tires are warm. In my Z06 I usually start in 2nd the quick into 3rd. Once my tires warm up I have to stay in 2nd and ride it out. Makes me wonder... what if SSRX started you out with warm tires?? Would our times be much faster, only slightly, or will there be no difference? Meh...tis just a game :)
 
I've only bogged at Indy with my RM'ed Challenger...that would explain it though.
