brake going to pit????

AE, ever tried puttin front and back brakes on level 1 and blasting threw the pit area???
or pushing a car towards the pit area wen it doesnt need 2???
or something else???

You mean you can set the brakes to minimum and the computer can't stop? That's hilarious!

Yes, there was even a thread devoted to shunting the AI into the pits. I thought it was more fun to keep them out of the pits though - that way they'll just sit and spin bad tires forever.

u noticed that when u blast into the pits on the super speedway that no matter what level ur break are on if ur goin fast u hit that wall hard...

The pit at Leguna Seca is messed up too. The first few times I pitted there I entered moderetly quickly and slammed into the wall. I had issues at Cote de Azure too now that I think about it ...

No, I've actually been to Laguna Seca several times, and I can confirm that pit entrance is every bit as sharp as it looks in the game! :eek:
 
So does setting the brakes to 1 allow you to storm through the pits? Thats awesome!
 
I have slammed into the wall in the pits at Laguna Seca, but not at Super Speedway. Laguna Seca IS sharp at the entrance, and I was storming at about 110 mph when I slid into the pits one time. At Super Speedway, the only I hit was the beginning of the wall on the right as the curve starts. But that is before the computer takes over with auto-drive.... :banghead:

The Sims seem so boring though. I watched the game playing here one time. I was quickly NOT AMUSED, then uninstalled it, and replaced it with Delta Force 2!!! :rolleyes:
 
Great fun to drive through the pits at that speed, but what happens when you get to the first corner and realise you need to slow down? .... :eek:

You open the door and put your foot to the pavement, apply pressure with that foot, then drift the corner wide!!!

I have been pushed around some, but not into the pits.... maybe the sand pit, but that is all... :burnout:
 
Only time AI got me back was last night... I was playing in the Amateur Evolution race with ASM and TCS set very low (or maybe off)... at one of the corners at Midfield II, the blasted CPU cars hit me at the apex of the corner, so I spun out... I was still able to pull off a win though. :D
 
I have been nailed while hitting a nice apex. I don't always get a GREAT line through a turn, but occasionally it happens....

I don't mind trading fenders if I am off a little bit, like going to slow.... It just annoys me when I am going so perfectly, then I get tagged by a speeder or a slider :rotfl: It makes me :mad:

But won't you mess up your line if you put your foot to the pavement on the wrong side of the car?
 
i once smashes a panoz into the pit wall, we were both goin into pits, i pushed him over and he hit the wall. I think it's a glitch cause he kept on trying to go forwrd instead of reversing and was stuck there for the next 8 laps until i smashed him off on the last lap.

This also happened to be in ausi race in amatuer. i hit a car off the road and when it tried to turn around it hit the wall and was stuck there for a whole lap.

Its also happened to some of my friends does anyone else have this prob?

Well, if the backend of your car slides to the same side that your foot is hanging out off, then potentially your foot may get caught under the car, thus proceeding to pull you from the car, your body going under the car, equalling death, or at least you hope you would die after feeling a 1500 pound hunk of metal and plastic using you for...

A) A speed bump.
B) An undercarriage decoration.
C) The next big wave of "What to attach to the rear of a car with 'Just Married' written on the back of it...."

If you have your seatbelt on, you will just be the one-legged man. Otherwise, the above may/will happen.... :blackeye:

Dude, that definately puts a new spin on "road-kill". And you know no self-respecting "car guy" is going to bloody up his ride that way. The answer...Doc Marten's. You don't even need to be wearing them they will dig in their heels w/o your help.
As for option "A" above, I have an aquaintance that once got his leg broken by being run over by a Mo-Ped.
He lost 10 "cool points" for getting run over by a Mo-Ped. Lost another 20 "cool points" when we found out he was the rider as well. :D
 
How did the rider get run over by what he was riding???

The only thing that could run over you while riding it is.... oh nevermind :rolleyes: That is a bad thought.... Sorry guys!!
 
Try this. Hit the emergency brake and turn the wheel sending the car in the pit backwards. If the pit lane is short enough and you have enough speed you will go through without stopping. It's cool.

I did that on the Seattle circuit. I smashed a Cobra into the wall on the chicane section before the finish line. He kept trying to go fowards as well.

Anybody ever tried to smash a car against the wall on the test track? Sometimes when they hit the wall they get stuck and drive sidways for most of the race.
