Seriously though, out of sight, out of mind...throw out anything you can that reminds you of her, unless its worth something in which case, pawn it for some cash, then use that cash to get out with your friends and have some fun. Pretty soon you'll realize how sweet the freedom tastes and how much more fun your having only worrying about yourself and doing what you want to do. Who wants to be friends with their exgf's? Unless they're giving you the occassional booty call (or answering yours) theres too much emotional attachment with the person to have a "true" friendship. I say cut it off completely, get drunk with your friends, tap some tail (making sure to leave as soon as its done so she knows what she was used for) and get on with your life.

Who said anything about a true friendship? Plenty of my friends have had breakups where they just consider the ex a friend and nothing more. Some keep in touch, some don't.

Not every guy needs to become a pig after a breakup.

It know it sounds rather harsh, but how long were you two together? Did you two talk about it why you broke up? If not, it probably wasn't a seriously reltionship from the beginning as I reckon a long-lasting, strong relationship is based upon telling and talking about everything with eachoher. But hey, who am I, I'm only 18, right? I'll shut up now.


Seriously though, me and my girlfriend, we're having an amazing time together and though it feels this is going to last for an incredibly long while, I do bear in mind it could end anytime. I do try not to think about it, but I do know I would come into the same situation as you, I'd be confused and hurt as well...
