I think Dubya's done his best to make it clear that terrorism isn't going away completely, ever.
 
I think if anyone would cause another WW it would be the US. We may be the dominate country in the world, but we can't muscle everyone into agreement with us. If america continues to invade other countries and meddle in their business, it will only piss off alot of people. While i understand that these actions may be done for 'good' reasons, the end does not always justify the means.

As for rotation giving us an atmosphere, think about this. ever look at the moon? have you ever noticed that we only ever see the same hemisphere night after night? That's because the moons rotation is 'synchronious' to earth, and so one side of the moon is continuously facing the earth while the other side is always facing away. yet does the moon have an atmosphere? no.

The moon does not rotate, it orbits. It is not in synchronious rotation, it's in synchronious orbit.
 
well in the movie it wasnt the earth that stopped spinning it was the core of the earth. and if it really did stop the earth would like decompress and fall off its axis. i saw it and thought it was really dumb and fake because when i saw it i was studying the earth and the core in school so i didnt like it.
 
as mentioned there would be 6month day/night. We would also have to do a mass migration around the world so as to always stay in partial light, partial night. Also we would have to wear massive amouts of sunscrene to prevent the UV rays that got through the Ozone that would be under tremendous stress as therw would be such long times of concentration on it.
 
So, I suppose you're all capable of simply walking off cliffs without falling, right? Seeing as how none of you have studied gravity, apparently...


Could it actually be no one has brought it up yet? Really? No rotation means no gravity, guys. No gravity, no magnetic field (magnetic field, not ozone), no atmosphere, no life...
