I haven’t done a lap yet, I’m prepared to finish last in this death trap!

Oi! It's a lovely car to drive. Dunno what you're all worried about . .

@Mistah_MCA is starting on pole with 15 cars on cold tyres/brakes behind him into the first chicane, you'll be fine.

Speaking of which, I should probably decide where he'll be starting the race.

It IS the Gr.3 Lambo is t it?

It is. With even more power than usual. It is a bit of animal, to be fair. I looped it about 20 times when I caught the left rear on the astro out of parabolica, last night.

It was all going well, and then suddenly . . Weeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

Yeah, that's a good point. I might request to drive the group 4 instead. No doubt I'd spend less time in the sand and would have a quicker race overall.

Request denied.

I’ll figure it out by the end of the race!

MCAlien has to drive the Gr4 with BoP on though right? ;)

I'm still working on the transition to wheel. Struggling with oversteer coming out of the slow corners at Big Willow, more so than I recall on the pad, which is strange because I thought that would be much easier on wheel / pedals.

Just stick to it. My pedals/wheel have to be moved out to the center of the room for me to drive, but it's worth it. It'll become second nature to drive.

Then I hit a brick wall for a few months until something clicked (no idea what) and I shot from 25k DR to 40 odd in a little over a week.

For me, it was weight transfer. When I figured out how that felt while I was driving on the wheel, it was like a light turned on.

I haven't driven the Lambo with these BoP settings. But the daily race settings basically neuter the car.

You have no idea.

Been to Monza. Enjoying the Lambo here! I think the BoP changes and medium tyres are about right.

19 laps in custom race mode starting from the back took me just over 35 mins (had one off track moment).

I'm pretty sure it was trail braking, for me. Which definitely helps with weight transfer. Not that I'm a master of trail braking, by any means. But, I'm a hell of a lot better than I was.

Well, the strangest thing happened. I went for a few laps and tries something new. I have been struggling with consistency and speed, feeling like the car was a raging bull and I was a matador. With no Cape, no weapon and no clothes. In a big area with 10.000 people cheering for the bull...

So I thought "it can't get any worse", and for the first time ever in a gr 3 car I went to TCS 0. From a mad, raging bull the car became a mad, raging bull that wants me to scratch it behind the ears.
I am no much faster, but the car is now a pleasure to drive. It will still bite me hard when I get too overconfident, but I can now at least catch the slides .

Good going, mate. As much as outright pace is cool. It's consistency that's king.
