I doubt anyone else will actually agree, but I think they should bring back Tahiti Road Course from Gran Turismo 2! I loved that track, nice scenery, fantastic mix of corners. I remember it being possibly my favourite track on that game, then came to play GT4 only to find it was gone. With a lot of updating of course, but keeping the theme and scenery style, this could make for an epic track in DLC. If you don't remember, here's a video to refresh your memory:

I liked this track too, it would be a great addition. I would think the scenery would be a pain to model though.

Yes I would like it back as well, unless they went against naming rights at all. I miss the rally version as well to at least get that fiji island type of feel for the game. Cape Ring does well to make up for most of it, but its not that same or at least.

Add elevation change to the course maker and add a cape ring backset type for the game as a patch.

This was actually the first ever GT track I drove/raced on. Would bring back a lot of memories if they brought it back. 👍

But it had a very frustrating replay bug with the Altezza LM.

Interesting, may have to check that out.

I just remember spinning out in Corvette's on that track. I hated not having pressure sensitive buttons on PS1 for racing games..

I vote for PD to bring each-and-every original track of GT history. So as we that mastered those tracks can enjoy them again with improved everything.

That Tahiti course is a brilliant straight-forward fantasy track that I miss.

I hope one day in a GT game (hopefully GT6) we can have ALL of the tracks from the previous games included.

Loved that track. In fact in the days leading up to GT5s release I dusted off GT2 and was pretty much stuck on this track doing lap after lap time attack runs. Theres just something about this track that I enjoyed.

Yeah it has certain nice qualities. Easy, has a flow, elevation changes, wide corners you can connect in a line, that right-turn after the church, picturesque.
Even though the graphics of psone didn't do it justice, the inspiration for a carribean frenzied race made it through. Quite a job PD!

Ohh the memories! They should do a Memory-Lane DLC to bring back 5 of the old tracks.
1. Tahiti Road
2. Grindlewald
3. Pikes Peak
4. Smokey Mountain
5. Redwood

Those are my top 5, I don't know about you guys, but any 5 old tracks if fine with me, I don't care, as long as it brings back good memories.

When you saw the title of thread, I thought 'yeah that was a great track', but half way through that video I fell asleep.
