Bring back the DLC's that we cant get!

How many of you feel that PD & Sony should offer a DLC packet of those DLC cars that were offered as pre-order incentives? They could sell them in the Playstation store...

Any thoughts on this??

(I wasnt able to enjoy obtaining those cars, and fankly...I WANT them! PLUS...it would be a money-maker for the companies!!)

Well, that's a good idea and all. But it would ruin the exclusivity that PD intended to have on release day / pre-orders. It would be great though. 👍
 
I'm still enjoying the fact that I own a selection of cars that no one else does (read: Only a few other people own), so no I don't think is a good idea.
 
it would be COOL but im really 🤬 off since i cant get the DLC in PSS now :banghead:
 
I'd like it if the Game Stop Camry and Edge Camaro were offered to non-US players and the Chrome Line XJ13 was offered to US and anywhere else that didn't get it.

Did you miss out on the stealth GTR & NSX they gave out to North American players recently?

You should have seen the cry babies over at the PS forums when they gave out the NSX OMG! If I could send the DLC I have I would share.
 
I like this idea, but I could imagine people somehow finding a way to complain about this. Maybe the loss of rarity on these cars? Some people here find a way to complain to just about anything. :rolleyes:
 
I agree that they should, especially in regions where certain cars were not available in any form, but not as paid DLC.

With GTPSP, after a while they released all of the individual pre-order bonus cars as a complete pack, completely free.
 
I hate people that cry about exclusivity. It's a game. It would be easy for PD to slap together a stealth car DLC pack and put on the store for $5. BIIIIIG money maker.
 
Honestly...I'm surprised they havent yet. I know with gtpsp after a few months the pre order cars where released.
 
It's cars man yea they should let us buy it it's not like were not paying for it just like they had to pay extra..we are still givin the cash man give us the cars
 
I'm okay with the guys, and gals who pre ordered GT5 and got some exclusive cars. What the game need to clean up is less repeats, how many Mazda Miatas are there? What we really need, IMHO...is some classics, some more exotics. Then this game would be truly great..

The problem with releasing a pack like that for sale, is that it makes it very difficult for the owners of the cars who pre-ordered to then spend money to get the one or two cars they don't have.

The XJ13 Chromeline, Edge Camaro, Stealth SLS, 787B and R10 are the only cars I don't have, why do I have to spend 5$ to get them and have to deal with losing exclusivity of the cars I spend 40$ for (buying the Collector's Edition and pre-ordering it).
 
Preorder deals should be banned. For not only that it reduces crying in forums but also would likely to bring in more money if they were offered as DLC instead.
 
I think its stupid that its impossible to collect every car in the game.

(This is not a goal of mine by any means. just my 2 cents)

The Miatas are there because they used to in previous games, be glad you have them.

Don't forget there also are classic cars and exotics.
 
I am not so miffed with the fact I can't obtain pre-order exclusives (had my chance, didn't go for it at the time), but that I am in Australia and miss out on cars like those offered in other territories for special reasons (the recent GT:A TV final exclusive for US owners + DLC delay car are prime examples).

When will Australians get access to some kind of exclusive vehicle for something that happens, regardless of where?

Something like another V8 Supercar that isn't 10+ years old would be lovely ;) I understand we are a small gaming commmunity, but if other companies can cater to us every now and again surely Sony/PD could too /beg

People would complain about the amount and cost of DLC then. :/ I think it would be just fine with this pre-order nonsense. No GT player wants first day DLC or first week. 👎
 
I get that the Miatas and all the other triplicate, GTRs etc are from previous games, but man if they only thinned out the herd there might only be 700 cars.
I agree that if you eliminate pre orders you may make more money from DLC....
BUT the guys who did pre order did get a bonus...

He is talking about a DLC pack containing ALL of the Stealth cars.

The signature edition has nothing to do with this

Meh.. I have the Stealth Maclaren and frankly, I never use it. Could care less about a Stealth Car pack.

Well your wrong there it has a lot to do with it as I paid a lot of money for my signature edition which came with 6 stealths and 5 chromelines. It would be wrong of PD to sell these now as DLC after we paid a lot of money for them.
 
As an owner of an aus collectors edition, I wouldn't care less if others got to buy the chromelines. And to be honest, I don't see what the big deal with it is. To those saying "thats why we pre orderd/spent the extra on signature editions" I'm almost certain that the cars weren't the only things in the pack which warranted the extra outlay. If they were released as dlc, I'm sure they would charge for them, in which case there's nothing to really complain about, because they are paying for something you also paid for.
 
I understand the point of exclusivity, though that same principle should have been applied to all counties. Imagine the DLC was not available to NA users so that they stayed exclusive to other regions... How many of you would be pissed then? It is the same with us not being able to obtain, say stealth cars due to region exclusivity.

I do wish they were released down the line for a fee.

Buying the Signature Edition wasn't an option for those living in other regions. Yeah, we had the collector's edition to get the chromline cars, but for stealth cars we were limited to our choice of retailer (much like the bonus cars for GTPSP, one per retailer).
 
The greed from some people are disgusting.
