Hi everyone,

I’m a real-life Honda CR-Z owner and a big fan of Gran Turismo. One thing I’ve always loved about GT is how it connects real car ownership with the virtual world – allowing us to push limits, tune setups, and experience what our cars are truly capable of.

But here’s the thing: the CR-Z was in GT5 and GT6, and it hasn’t made a return since. As someone who drives a CR-Z daily, I can’t tell you how amazing it would feel to take my own car into tracks like Tsukuba, Fuji Speedway, or even the Nürburgring.

In real life, it’s impossible (and unsafe) to test the CR-Z’s limits on public roads. But in GT, I could:

  • Try different setups and tuning ideas freely
  • Explore the car’s handling at the edge, safely
  • Even bring some of those tuning inspirations back into real life

That’s the essence of Gran Turismo to me – it’s not just a racing game, it’s a bridge between reality and virtual driving passion.

The CR-Z may not be the fastest sports car, but it has a unique spirit, a strong fan community, and it represents Honda’s philosophy of mixing efficiency with fun. There are thousands of CR-Z owners and enthusiasts worldwide who would absolutely love to see it back in GT7.

So I just want to say:
Please, Polyphony Digital – bring back the Honda CR-Z!

Anyone else here missing this car as much as I do? 🙏

GTPlanet is an independent media site with no connection to the developers or publishers of Gran Turismo, so we do not have the capability to add anything to the game.

We do however have a Suggestions forum for suggesting content:

Please ensure that you follow the requirements for posting in that forum if you choose to do so.

There's also our Cars & Tracks Wishlist thread, into which you can place wishlists:
