Hello! I'd like to have a go at this. Right my family have 3 cars currently;

1998 Seat Arosa Diesel (GT6: Volkswagen Lupo 1.4 '01 is the equivalent model!)

1997 Audi A3 1.8T (GT6: Audi S3 '02)

And a 1989 Porsche 944 S2 (GT6: N/A, no Porsches in game and nothing resembles a 944.)

No laptimes yet, I need to go into GT6 to try and get the Lupo and the S3 as close as possible to my family's cars.

I'm learning to drive in a 2009 Vauxhall Corsa Diesel but I'm not sure what is close enough for this car so I'll just stick to the two mentioned above.

For the Porsche you could try something like an N/A S13 240SX hatch.

I've posted and run the laps on the wrong wheel size:dunce: So, if you don't mind? I'd like to run again

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm thinking I might use either the S13 240SX or the RX-7 FC3S. But I'll do the Audi first. Expect some times and some pics soon. :)

It's a standard 1.8litre Turbocharged front wheel drive A3.

I think the S3 is a 4WD so I'll see if I can make it more FWD. A diff should help. I've done it before to a GTR, made it RWD only but still shows as AWD.

The Audi is a 5-speed, has 148hp and I found the correct gear ratios online so hopefully not too much tweaking needed. It's metallic blue with the standard rims of the S3. I'll post some pics of the finished car when it's ready. :)

You might also try the MK.IV Volkswagen GTI, it's the same platform as the A3 and definitely the same engine.

Okay the Audi has done a GT Arena run;
Lap1: 33.266
Lap2: 33.737
Lap3: 34.208
Lap4: 32.328
Lap5: 33.017

Nurburgring: 9:20.508
Combined (N+GT): 9:52.836
Class: Street
Mods: None (untuned in real life)
Car: Audi A3 1.8T '97
Car (ingame): Audi S3 '02

Drove on Sports Hard tyres with power detuned to 148bhp, I tried to get the gear ratios as close as possible, however the S3 has one extra gear so I've made 6th gear virtually useless. I also fitted an LSD so that the majority of the tourque goes to the front wheels, so that the car feels more FWD. I can't give an accurate reading on torque because the specs state in Nm. However GT does it in KGFM? Post has been updated with all times completed! :)

Nice thread! Here are my stats.

Real-life car: Volvo S60 2.5T '01
In-game car: Volvo S60 T5-Sport '03
Class: Street
Mods: None

GT Arena time: 0:34.536
Nurburgring time: 8:53.735
Overall time: 9:28.171

Notes: For this tournament I had to use the game's '03 S60 T-5 Sport, downtuned to 200hp, which killed its acceleration, even compared to the stock S60. Still, I decided that I'd rather play it safe and accept the decreased acceleration if it meant that my entry would be approved. Also, I ran with TCS off as there's a button in the car that allows you to deactivate it.

My car is a 2000 Toyota Camry on all season tires

Honda Accord Euro-R '00 used to simulate the car, weight upped to 1525kg and power reduced to 156hp, all aids turned off and comfort medium tires equipped

Best GT Arena lap: 36.262
Nurburgring lap: 9:38.266

I have a question. My car is a VW 2004 R32 and has 460 WHP.The GT6 can only get about 360 WHP that is, I'm 100 WHP = 130 HP shortened. The weight is about 1350 KG can I reduce weight to equalize minority whp. Thanks for the advice.

There's no one else who has stated that they're interested in running races.

It's just the two of us, so far.
Andrew, I have a question: My parents have an Mitsubishi Carisma 1.8 GLS, a Citroen Saxo and a Audi 80. But they aren't on the game.... So, what can I do?

Going to do this sometime this week, looks fun. I drive a 13 mazdaspeed3 263hp 280 trq, in gt6 the 03 axela(mazda3) 2.3l once a few upgrades are added and then slightly detuned to 263hp, to my surprize gets the torque fairly accurate coming in at 273. And its black mica on black wheels like mine as well, just the wrong body lol

Hi, been reading on here for a while. Came from the obbsession with Nordschielfe thread. Really enjoy the Nordschielfe. My car is a Citroen Xsara Vts. The 2.0 ltr. Its had some mods so had to reflect on that in the game using the Vtr (which is a 1.6 same engine in the Peugeot 106 rallye/s16) I took some suspension specs off some car forums I'm a regular on.
Will post the exact times up that I did earlier today. But I'm quite surprised how well it handles on the 'Ring

I hope this is allowed, but I ran this test on my two current cars (Integra GS-R and Cayman S) as well as my two previous sports cars (BRZ and S2000). Here are the results I came up with:

1) 1992 Integra GS-R. This car isn't in the game, so the closest I could do was the '95 Honda Integra Type R. My Integra weighs around 2650 lb, has around 20 hp more than stock, 180 (thanks to cold air intake, exhaust manifold, and cat back exhaust. Suspension mods are adjustable Koni shocks, and 2 rear suspension braces. To meet these specs I detuned the Type R's engine to 180 hp and added ballast. The car currently has performance all season tires so I outfitted it with Comfort Medium tires.

GT Arena A - 35.196 s
Nordshleife - 9:04.627
Total Time - 9:39.823

2) 2007 Honda S2000. Mine had an Invidia catback exhaust and Dunlop Direzza Z1 tires (extreme summer). This was easy in the game. Took the 2006 S2000, added the sports exhaust (total of 251 hp) and Sport Medium tires.

GT Arena A - 30.458 s
Nordshleife - 7:59.256
Total Time - 8:29.714

3) 2013 Subaru BRZ. Mine was supercharged, with aftermarket downpipe, overpipe and exhaust manifold. For this I took the 2012 Subaru BRZ S and added the high rpm turbo, exhaust manifold, and catalytic converter. That gave me 277 hp (started with 200). I left the weight alone. My tires were the OEM spec Michelins, so I chose Comfort Soft in the game.

GT Arena A - 32.317 s
Nordshleife - 8:13.720
Total Time - 8:46.037

4) 2006 Porsche Cayman S with reflashed ECU. Roughly 305 hp and 2950 lbs. This was a bit tricky, since Porsche is persona non grata in GT6. So I took the RUF 3400S and added ballast to achieve my car's weight. My car has Micheline Pilot Super Sport tires so I chose Sport Hard.

GT Arena A - 31.587 s
Nordshleife - 7:51.660
Total Time - 8:23.247
