In addition there is also "Coupling" which I didn`t see anyone mention in this thread, its brilliant in my opinion and very clever writing for a comedy show, it is often compared to "Friends" but honetly I think "Coupling" is far superior.
I do not know how many times I have re-watched but it ain`t few.

Kikie: You should definietely check out Green Wing. It's like a very odd british version of Scrubs.
Channel and when?

Channel and when?

Oh I`m sorry I thought you meant in general, I must have misunderstood if it was Tv only, I meant if you are looking to get them on DVD, I know both "Fawlty Towers" and "Coupling" are available though for purchase.

In regards to "Coupling", the first season was re-made in the US, so stay away from that one, it sucks.

'Coupling' is a good shout but it kind of fell away after they replaced the original Jeff, man he was hilarious.

Its also worth noting this was pretty much the starting point for actor Jack Davenport who has basically become a hollywood star, its funny watching him now in big budget stuff when you remember him in Coupling!

'Outnumbered' is also a decent family comedy and its won many awards, again an american version is planned but the original is the best.

This I'm afraid :guilty: I forgot you were asking what was on the channels you've got at the moment.

You would have to get it on DVD but there was only 2 seasons and they did a boxset

Mountain Gorilla

Patrick Stewart narrates a landmark three-part series on the world's last mountain gorillas.

First episode repeated Wednesday on BBC2 at 7pm and the second episode is on Sunday on BBC2 at 8pm

Do you guys get QI at all? It's absolutely brilliant. Funny and very very interesting, aswell as very informative. Stephen Fry is a national treasure!

I'm not sure if this clip will work outside of the UK:

I have been getting into British shows lately and im pretty impressed. Shows like Hustle, Survivors, The Real Hustle and a few more are all really great. I like the special miniseries things James May does once in a while too like Toys and 20th century.

I'm Alan Partridge Series 1 & 2

By far the funniest character ever devised and unfortunately for Coogan it will likely be the best thing he ever does.

Big Train

If you can't laugh at Tom & Jerry getting into a drunken fight on a night out you are broken inside.

Brass Eye

Chris Morris is a comedy genius who isn't afraid of being hated.

Nathan Barley

Subversive mocking of moronic meme obsessed culture. Welcome to the age of the idiot. Cool 👍

Can't believe nobody here's mentioned Misfits yet!... supernatural powers to community service delinquents after an unusual electrical storm...

Also, yeah, Dr Who for many years. Also yes British documentaries, Monty Python, Blackadder, Torchwood (anagram of Doctor Who), um, Antiques Roadshow, Sherlock, the various myseries and other stuff that shows up on PBS... yes, British humor appeals to me.

Have to check out Father Tom some day.
