Can anyone recommend a good paint chip for a light bronze colour when painting rims? All the colours I have seem a little dark.

I don't mind buying cars from the dealerships, so long as I'm not blowing 100k a time :)

Try some of the brownish / yellow sorted metallics.
What I mean is sort your paints to look at metallics, sort by hue, and then look at where red meets orange & orange meets yellow. Also look among the grays/silvers, because sometimes really light amber/brown type metallics get mixed in with them.
And check some that are labeled with gold in the name, but are actually not really gold. There are several I've found in this category where they're named "gold" this or that, but then when you paint them, they look more bronze.

the premium ferrari that looks like it has two toasters on the back comes in a paint called "gold poly" or something

There's a Bronze looking chrome in the DLC. I put it on my LFA, but many find it looking like a "polished turd." :yuck:

I've seen that but I would call it copper...
And it definitely depends upon how the light hits it.

The 512BB is my car of choice for painting rims gold :)

Oh, yesterday I saw in my paints Almond Beige Metallic. I think that's sort of bronze-ish... though still it might be darker than you're looking for.

If you don't have it in your collection, let me know & add me on PSN, and I'll send you piles of possibly bronze paint chips. :D (To match DOMO LOL ;) J/K)

I might have to take you up on that offer anyway... because I know for sure that when I sort my paint by "count", the most I have of any particular colour is 2 :D
