Watching a bit of "Race of Champions" and commentator has said that the Audi R8 LMS race car is rear wheel drive.
Every day is a school day
Would you still love it JB.

FR really? Will have to check later.
It's not FR, it's MR. Just not 4WD.
As are the GT3-versions of the Gallardo and the Nissan GT-R, by the way. 4WD is not allowed under FIA GT3 regulations.
Is the GT3 GT-R an MR..??
I read it also uses a V8 instead of the V6...I'd love to see a GTE version at Le Mans, in blue Calsonic livery...
So is it a case of joining jb room and then race? Or gedi going to be there?![]()
Grid looks pretty varied manufacturer wise this season should make for some decent vids Toffe.![]()
V8-JohnboyWhoever gets there first really mate, but TL will be along more or less on time i think.Just have some fun no set agenda be nice to try your rain thing though.
@ Nels no probs Nel i'll probably be opening a lounge up now and again over Chrimbo for some drunken fun.![]()
Nope, the GT-R GT3-version is, of course, FR. And it uses a V6.
I'm not fully acquainted with their rules, from your wording it suggested it was MR. Glad to hear it's not, and doubly glad to hear it keeps the V6. I don't like the idea of changing the drive layout of a GT car, or using a different engine to the original. It's for the former reason that I don't like the GT300 Lexus, even considering their more liberal technical regs.
To topic, what tracks will we be using tonight?
Don't think I'll be able to make it to tonight's practice, travelling home from Prague today and won't be home until around 10pm. Bit gutted really as I love a bit of wet weather driving! Have fun

Just got back hows it going if at all.?![]()
I forgot about this entire practice session, sorry fellas.
Did I miss any close racing? Or was R35 dominative?![]()
Only 5 of us
We did a wet race at Suzuka, and it was very difficult to drive, wheel spins in 4th gear - was 100% wet through but still car was all over the track![]()
Well we didn't do a lot of testing with different types of wet conditions, only 100% rain and wet track, but I can see people struggling with controllers and it would just end up with spins and no close racing. Think these cars have too much torque and just can't get any power down - might be bested to be dry:tup: But that's my view, if it was less wet may have been easier and more fun but need to test more to see if its a good idea to race in the wet.Sorry about that fellas big up to those 5 of youAtleast the wet was tested sounds like a no no.👍

Seems a bit pointless mate really why risk aggro for ourselves? We either race wet properly or not at all conpensating just for the sake of it seems a little daft.
Like you say these things are probably just a little too pocky.

Thats what I said.People would get too angry and rage quit etc, best to go dry just to keep it closer and much easier.👍
You did sir and i agree 100% silly idea in the first place.![]()
