@ scanny the fulltime spot is yours if you want it? Rolo has declined it.

Oh boy Sarthe time ??
A faster Track which is something I like :D

Will do some testing here and I think of getting a comfortable sub-4 Time.

Not a track I have ever done well on (Suzuka and Fuji also) Reckon I will be 3 to 4 seconds of the pace and usually good for at least 1 crash in each race :dopey:

Replay of Monday's race:

Incredibly close racing in this race... I don't know what has happened, but since the Indy race, the "middle" part of the field has become incredibly close, often like 6-8 (!) cars within a few seconds or less. I think it's similar to how close the racing became last year in F1 actually...

Example: Despite being in the later part of Race 1, the entire field was contained within about 8 seconds. 13 cars within 8 seconds. That's 1,75 cars per each second.

Now that's close racing! :)👍

That's what I thought 👍 guys.. And who says these cars ain't close :)

@ scanny.. Can you run some laps at gvs for me please? Just need some times.
I think it may need an upgrade. since the update I think it's performance has decreased.

Done some Indy laps wasn't sure it was possible but i think those Z06 brakes have actually got worse:yuck: Need to offer Scanny something imo.:guilty:

When I ran it last night I set brakes same as mine and found the brakes were same as mine. But yes the car needs something.

@ the field if all else fails would you guys mind if scanny had the choice of another car and getting rid of the ZO6 all together as the way it is now the cars slow?

Not for me but im not the greatest with either toad:guilty: Even at 621bhp i still only managed a 130.9 with a real good lap, the rest low mid 31's but even that felt hardwork.:grumpy:

Offer of the ZR1 would still seem fair if he's not interested in the bhp boost.💡

Going on now for some ZO6 testing.

Scanny can you try 621bhp and get back to me JB's tried it and its on par.

Holy moly! 621bhp, that vette was fast down the straight, its now gonna be mentally fast

Still only a 51.2 @ gvs
30.9 @ Indy

Yes thats true, but look at the possible differences in setup that could arise, for example look at skeng and teamie, some times over a second apart in the same car, for all you guys know with a great setup that could dominate everything

Like I said here ^^ asking scanny to try it.

No brakes no downforce a Nissan Sunny would outbrake the Z06. Sure its fast in a straight line but i was having to brake so early in it compared to the brake points of the Ford. As for a super setup making a difference you could probably say the same for any car in the list not sure theres much that can be done about that.

True but I remember in Tokyo scanny would pull away on the tiny pit straight and when I catches up he would be back on the pit straight and that was with less power and more weight

Give it a race if anywhere proves your theory Sarthe will. Bottom line is the Z06 is an unfortunate headache the ZR1 should have been where we stopped. I think thats an option we should still consider (ZR1 swap) but the decision lies with Scanny its his ride.:)

Just catching up with this now guys, I'll try to do a little running this evening.

To be honest, absolutely no thought or testing went into my car selection at the beginning of the season. I had a z06 lying around and it appeared to be a little underused in the series (should've been a clue really!) so I decided to give it a run.

Been really struggling to make anything work with it but have reserved judgement as I haven't had the time to test the other cars, hadn't raced many of the guys here before so didn't know where my pace should've been in relation to them and didn't want to come into a series and immediately start complaining about specs. I'd made my bed and was just gonna lie in it until next season.

I did 45 mins or so at GVS on Monday in case a spot was available for the race and was stuck at mid-high 53's I think......my best laps at Indy were mid 32's iirc.

I'll see what I can do tonight and get back to you but now having read what JB was saying about how hard it was to spec the Z06 it could well be a bit of a white elephant. I don't mind riding the season out in it but if everyone's happy I'll switch to the ZR1, I won't go as far as to change manufacturer 👍

Either options cool Scanny you decide sir:idea:
If you need a fully run in ZR1 with a half decent setup on it i can send it over to you just say the word.👍

That would be cool, I'll put a setup of mine on it as well to compare and run both cars on a few of the circuits before Monday, try and get a bigger picture 👍

Ok sir will send ZR1 straight away:tup: Just let us know if your 100% sure on a swap and i'll scrap the devil toad from the OP.:guilty:
