Race 1 was meh, I hit the chicane exit wall a couple of times and lost places from that.
Race 2 I got stuck in the haitch train after being bullied at the start and losing places. I couldn't do anything about my position in the train until carb pitted from behind haitch. I got through after a slight mistake from haitch, but was 19 seconds behind the leaders after this. 👎
I ran some laps by myself for a bit and pitted a couple laps after halfway. 1 was now 21-23 seconds behind the lead and in 6th. I could focus and was consistantly setting my best lap of the race (high 1:34's). I caught carb on his older tyres and passed after what was either a slight mistake or his tyres not being good enough to fight well.
Something then happened ahead, where 2nd and 3rd placed drivers had something happen and fell back to Stu, who was about 9 seconds ahead of me. At the end of the race I'd closed the gap to 4th down to 2.0 seconds.
Not a good track for these cars really. The majority of my overtakes were just from others making slight mistakes, and I couldn't pass the rest of the time (Haitch train and race 1).
