The tire wear on AWD's might be higher, but it's more consistent. :) (I mean it's distributed to all 4 wheels somewhat equally)
 
On the back of those comments ive run another test today Ford GT v Lambo LP670.💡

I took a stint from mondays race so 12 laps aound GP/F with our usual race 2 settings. Both cars seemed to drop in performance slightly around the 10 lap mark although it was nothing major. The Lambo finished with marginal better wear looking at both huds cosmetically wise. Cant see it being an issue with "Normal wear" settings tbh.

The statistics for both are below.

Ford GT.

Best Lap 2.00.255 (lap 5)
Total Race Time 24.17.090

Lambo LP670.

Best Lap 159.866 (lap 3)
Total Race Time 24.20.410

I had a brief go with the Scuderia last night internet was playing up so had to go offline to do it though :(. And never got any accurate comparison times at the Nurb cause of it.

Early impressions were it does feel considerbly lighter than the 458 :O. Whether that means with the increased BHP to its *that* much quicker than the 458? :O

Lacks in the torque department but heres todays test which may help you a little Nel.:)

Lambo 670!:sly: v Scud 430

Monza half stint of season 6 laps from Monza so 15 with race 2 settings.

Lambo.

Total Time 27.18.377
Fastest Lap 147.938 (lap 5)
Tyre Drop Off Lap 12 (marginal performance)

Scuderia.

Total Time 27.05.673
Fastest Lap 147.239 (lap 4)
Tyre Drop Off Lap 9 (marginal performance)

Above shows the possible problem we may face with balancing a 4wd. Its clearly on par around GP/F so we cant give it a boost as it will be too strong on everything twisty. On the flip side it will suffer on tracks like the above, chicken and the egg scenario:dunce: The Lambo requires less talent than anything else on the list so for me making it on par with the other drivetrains wouldn't add up, why pick an MR of the same pace????:crazy: We still have race pace to test something im going to need help with (next monday for starters:bowdown:) With draft help this should boost the Lambo a little more and theres nothing here that will top it off the line just hope its a short run into turn 1!!👍

BTW Scud 430 isnt too fast thats not the problem.:sly:
 
I think thats balanced. Considering Monza is a power track and the Lambo's disadvantage is power, then to only be 15 seconds back its pretty much balanced for other circuits, if they aren't all straight.👍 plus there are outside factors like setup, driving style, traffic which can all affect the performance.
But if you are trying to make it a disadvantage from the start, is it worth having it? I understand you dont want people just picking the Lambo but if you try and put people off will anyone pick it?

From my testing at indy the 430 and Lambo was pretty close over lap pace.👍
 
458 off the line is pure beast !
Just start with 2nd gear and you pull away (with little wheelspin though).
It´s on par with the Lambo (atleast for me), although the Lambo has no wheelspin :D

And It has to be slower on the power Tracks (or make her heavier ??) due to the AWD.
In all RL racing series AWD gets power and or weight restrictions
=> normal thing to penalize it in a reasonable way.
 
No worries guys just relaying feedback if you Lambo freeks are comfortable with the above the Lambo will remain at its current spec:tup: JB no longer Ford GT!:sly:

We will be dropping the Camaro from the list testing shows its fast enough but the handlings pretty sick in comparison.:sick:

Syjones has signed up as a reserve in the SLS for season 7 so hopefully we should see my old teamie at some stage.:D
