Right, i'm quite annoyed that I can't make it next week  Bashman may get a point or two :grumpy: Bash and I were on mics on Skype last night which worked really well 👍

Nunna nunna nunna nunna, Bashman, Bashman, Bashman!

GiK, it's not pink. Relax, have I treated you poorly yet. Not yet. ;)

As for MrMulsanne, i think i took a photo with ur car all wrecked...ill dig through the archives tonight and make sure its uploaded with the rest of the pics. ;)

Yeah I gave her a bit of a run-in in, but in quali my paint was actually white in chunks due to amount of damage.

Anyone else feel 12 laps for the Tokyo sprint race is maybe a bit high?? 12 laps at 3.18 miles may turn into a tyre conservation test rather than an all out sprint race, race 2 was always intended ro be the tactics race with race 1 being a speed fest what does everyone else think??:nervous:

Same can be said for Suzuka and maybe even Fuji learn things as you go i spose.

U got to remember that not all tracks will be good for 12 laps. I even thnk that Deepforest should have been 11 or maybe even kept at 12. So one will have to check every track and do testing. No for Tokyo, i would revert back to the 10 laps. Suzuka is long as well and seeing its a 'F1' track, 10 laps would be the right move seeing how it close to Monza...maybe a bit longer.

Basically what i'm saying, some tracks can handle a few more laps than others. Dont forget though, the minimum laps should be 10 and the 'Sprint' test should be between 10-12. I remember Monza was borderline 10 and it fit the bill and worked perfetly. Deepforest if it was 11 laps, it would have probably saved some spins on lap 12. Its a fine line really.

^ Im trying to take into account the amount of last lap incidents that are croping up and potentially spoiling peoples races and trying to cut them out a bit atleast for the sprint race. Being this is my and gedi69's first series we unfortunately will be learning as we go along to a certain extent. Ive just done 12 laps on one set of tyres around Tokyo it was possible but the last 3 laps where not much fun to be honest and that was on my own:scared: I spent most of the 12 laps looking at my tyres which took something away from what is ment to be an all out speed race as opposed to race 2 which is more tactical. Perhaps even the 25 laps for race 2 needs to be cut down maybe to 21/22laps i will discuss this at length with 69 and welcome the fields comments ofcourse. On reflection the laps for each track will more than likely change after carrying out individual track testing, we still want tyre wear to play a part but if its playing a major part come the last couple of laps and spoiling things thats not so good like Moeom says its a fine line and something i personally was a tadd blarzay about will get to work on it and thrash it out with 69.:dunce:

Well your right, you want the Tyre Wear to be part of racing even in the Sprint Race. Yet in Sprint race, you want it to be just to happen in the final lap or 2 max. So say you had the 12 lap test, with last lap making so hard, maybe 11 laps would be the right decision.

I aswell think something has to be done as my car goes really bad quickly when the tyres go, looks like some good hard testing is due!

Was thinking 11 and 22 not sure how 69 feels about that for next weeks race.💡

Alright, JUST finished taking pics of Race One! Man with all those beat up cars, it was as if they had been to war and back!

1 thing I will say for Tokyo...theres loads of SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE to overtake lol, even some of the corners are huge enough to go 2/3 wide round them (as long as ppl stay on there lines, are aware of drivers inside them and vice versa)

After Deepforest, it seems that space for overtaking was a thing of the past. lol

Im cool with whatever you decide jb.

Well i cocked it up before remember!! i will test each track and give you the feedback 69 for now if everyones happy Tokyo will be 11 race 1 and 22 race 2.:)

As im taking those pics, im just so sure that no other race will have as many destruction!

Whatever race distance is decided on is good with me, although i would prefer longer as i seem to be quite soft on my tyres. I think i would have managed a 30 lap feature with just the 1 pit stop at deep forest. It was good to see lots of tyre smoke in the upcoming corners and thinking "won't be long till their sliding wide" lol Pity i got excited and ended up spinning out a couple of times.
