Yeah, so I'm the champ... Well, someone could say this is "evening the odds" given that now both me and King have missed one round, but it still doesn't quite feel right... King would probably have finished ahead of me in that feature race where my 2-stopper turned into a catastrophic 4-stopper.

Congrats carb you've done an amazing job!
Just got to hold onto it through S3.
Only king & jb fighting for 2nd & 3rd.

Me and Gedi will be cracking on with the S3 thread very soon, so what would everyone prefer for race 2? Keep all tyre compounds and plan a stratagy? ( may involve heavy time testing but will be interesting ie AK v JB at the Ring) Or we keep it simple and just run R/Hards:idea: Race 1 is sorted R/Softs and tyre wear off......I think.

Race 1 - No restriction (Tyre wear off.)
Race 2 - No restriction (Tyre wear on.)
Note - This will change 3 times during the season with various PD updates.

Keeping all compounds brings a lot of strategy and different race plans. My strategy for last night was to run med fronts/soft rears and try to get to lap 27 or 28 then go onto softs for the last 5/6 laps. Did not go as planned as i had to pit earlier so had to finish on med/soft.

It opens up the options for everyone. Maybe limit it to Racing H/M/S/I/W.

I agree Stu just worried it may involve alot of tyre setup tests which some simply may not have the time for, we had this to some extent lastnight meaning people quit the race.

We may well post the S3 line up/spec in the social group today in order to give the regulars a head start, since some of you seem to know already hehe. If Gedi confirms will post ln group later.

The first couple of corners of the feature race were smoke screens. I held back a little and at times could not see anyone because of tyre smoke. My strategy is to get into a rhythm and keep an eye on my lap times. The worst thing you can do is try and keep up with someone who is faster than you, or who has more tyre. Fight for position but if you find your running wide once or twice, let them go and save tyres for later.

Agreed Stu race 1 tried to keep up with Carb wrecked my tyres made a mistake pulled out of chase Race 2 got a flying start managed to negotiate Furis smokin Lotus at turn 1, pulled a small gap and settled into a rhythm amazed how much longer the tyres lasted.

17 sent btw.
