BST V8 challenge S2 "The new breed" Reserves needed!

im am shocked to win both races also im glad i started last atleast GT5 remembered me as i started where i should have in race 2 :D

Race 1 Was an epic battle with RP constantly swaping places until i just managed to create a gap and pull away and take my 1st win on my debut :D

Race 2 The first few laps i spent just picking my way through as safely as i could until i hit furis damned lotus i overtook it only to be "passed by a stupid turbo down the straight" :sly: so i had to really work since furi was being a bit rough around the latter part of the lap eventualy another car got between us and i was off in pursuit of the next car. I really cant remember who it was, then about lap10 my damned scart fell out of my ps3 so i had to pause on the long right, jump out grab it put it back in and continue on losing around 7seconds. After we got the pits out of the way i was back in 3rd behind JB and hancock around 5-6seconds eventualy hancock caught up to JB and started battling slowing them both down and bringing me into play. We battled swapping places until i made a decisive move on lap28 and got a 1 second gap over them both so as they continued to squable for 2nd i managed to increase my lead and win the race :D

Great racing tonight absolutely perfect 👍

(Also was wearing my RML Chevy T-Shirt while i raced i allways do :sly:)

Great mate, got a new design for the tables, much simpler this time, no nationality flags as that is the real pain in the 🤬 as you have to move them and align them correctly, this is much simpler and just as effective. 👍
 
All quiet on the complaints side of things pub for the stewards whoop whoop!!:sly:

Maybe keep the ones in the OP just without the points and use as a driver profile?
 
I'm so sorry RacerPaul, I hit you in the first corner after a few laps on the second race. Had nowhere to go so I had to choose a sure hit on the other guy or a maybe hit on you. Luckily you didn't get damaged.

Like that idea. Actually come to think of it then if everyone could send me a picture of their driver with their arms crossed then I could make an awesome driver profiles section. 👍
 
Race 1:
Was ok Qualified at 7th (??) and managed to be 4th behind the Pauls and Cobrius. But I spun at final Turn on lap 6 and had to wait for the others to reenter the Track safely.
In the end I got 11th :(
I had a pretty epic Battle with Furi during the first 4 Laps hard but fair (sorry for that Honking it´s a reflex :D).
I could have been far better but ...
PS my spin was the penalty for slightly ramming Cobrius, sorry again for that.

Race 2:
For some wicked reason I couldn´t see paulmac anymore -_-
=> I thought I lead the Race till 11th Lap (what I probably did because of his scart incident) and thought I fight for victory :P

Had a nice Battle with JB 👍
I pitted at 11th and 23rd Lap but I would have been better positioned if I also did a 1 pitter (maybe I could have fought for Podium) the difference was 15 seconds.

I had a pretty free Race after the first 11 laps, only had to pass Syjones and Greyfox again. The ZR1 is a beast on the Straight too not only the Esprit.


Pretty good Season start and very good behaviour at first Turn in both Races (espacially at the Start)👍

Yes but I wasn't focussed at all, couldn't stop thinking of Dan Wheldon's crash and what happened during it, I spent the whole race not concentrating.:(

Race 1 hit you first because I lost it getting on the gas. Good scrap though 👍

Had an excellent battle with Johny for most of race 1.

Had to leave race 2 :(

The problem is that moving everything and lining everything up precisely will take a while and the 🤬 so this design works much better. 👍
 
Unfortunately I won't be racing next week as I'm in lithuania, will be back for sarthe though!
 
@ Stewards: I posted something in the "Steward"-Social group maybe you could answer on that there (only for the Stewies)

Nooooo Team GULF not complete ?? Argh then all presure is on my shoulders
