Just noticed 2 of your pics have disappeared too under drivers rides and country table, think they've been deleted off photobucket ( ive had the same errors a few times :lol: )

1:45 for me, very scary, 1:48 is safe lap. I'm really struggling under braking for turn 1...

Oh ok then shows I've missed loads then.
Turn 1 is a right mare.
I've done a quick few laps with ds3 and got 1.49 but that was a bad lap.
 
Turn 1 I am powersliding under braking. I am literally full rally sideways. The problem is not me or the corner, the car simply just loses it under braking with the banking. I have to say I am seriously concerned about turn 1 tomorrow, there's going to be some major accidents, especially on worn tyres...

But problem is if you brake earlier, cars behind will jam up and we'll have a NASCAR style accordion effect. Also watch the tyre wall against the outside wall, I have ended up impaled in that a couple times...

not really i love daytona T1 is a doddle for me since ive done many long races here in other series the Audi is sorta similar it does try to go sideways underbrakes but not so much i cant control it i call it playfull :lol:

Found a brake balance set up thats helping with T1 a bit fingers crossed for tomorrow:tup: At turn 1 for me the guy following the person in front should be prepared to yeald a little early fighting someone here is asking for trouble hope you guys feel the same:idea: A little early on the brakes is way better than even a fraction late that way we should avoid most concertina/bottom bashing:sly: This is one of the few corners for me were i take some notice of GT5's flashing red gear selection thing a mili second after the 2nd gear (in Audi) started flashing gradual braking worked for me although probably a little slower than the quick boys it sure as hell felt safer!!!:nervous:

My Merc doesn't have the pace of the Audi's

All I can do is hope hope to keep pace with those who aren't driving one

Looks like despite the early time may only be able to do race 1. :(

After last Monday, will probably leave rather than trying to stay 👍
 
I'm going to hope for a pts finish. Two 10th places will suffice in my book...
 
Turn 1 is no problem for me I have problems with the fast chicanes.
1:45´s are my consistant lap-times and my fastest one was a 1:44.318.
I can get more 1:44´s but that would destroy my tires too much.

I´m kinda sorted for tomorrow :D
 
I can't seem to get turn 5 right. Was practicing with Neljack tonight and dipped a wheel on the grass between 4 and 5 resulting in a BIG crash, so thats something to avoid tomorrow. Ferrari's will be eaten up on the oval if tonight is anything to go by.
