If anyone is sure they cannot make GP/F as per usual a heads up asap is appreciated in the meantime any reserves are welcome to take part in Quali just incase.👍
 
I tested my first few race-pace laps and Tranny/Suspension laps.
Tranny is fine but the suspension needs a little tweak.
Was tired after work but I want to be competitive :D
And our Teamchef (Christian Horny :D) forces the drivers to do their work so his nickname is: Tortureix.

2:03.0xx as fastest for Race pace ended for me pitting after Lap 8 (2 stopper is safe)
=> Time drop from start on to lets say 2:04´s will bring me a 1 stopper
=> have to test the race times for both szenarios -_-

1 stopper would be cool though but I tend to make mistakes once or twice
=> 2 stopper is the way to go for me (maybe).

But I like the Lap count because you have to think before you race and get a Tactic sorted (like in real racing).
Race 2 is the Race for the smartest driver. You could go full throttle max-attack all the Time but you would have to do 5 stops then :D
 
Nice report King and a + for the race 2 laps!!:D

Lexus not a great fan of our next track to many corners to nail its crying out for some straight road so it says:crazy:!!
Not on the pace of Aliens Alfa 2.02.3's at best.:grumpy: High 2.02 for Q would be good for my package, 2.03's probably.:nervous:

Gedi what you mean passed your sell by date life in the old toad yet isnt there.:dunce:

Edit: Bit more practice 2.01.8 that really is the limit for me Alien your Alfa lap is :drool::drool:👍

Just been doing some practise at the nurburgring
So many different types of corner here and few you have to tip toe round on egg shells, like the bottom hairpin, but I'm happy with my progress so far. Some nice consistent times. Normans happy :-)
 
Im slightly confused by the whole tyre conservation points going in in the feature races here.

Providing you arent a D1ck and dont do drifts every corner you'll be fine, its about driving to how tyres wear rather than driving to stop the tyres from wearing 👍

Well, thats my view anyway : - )
 
I just drive to my strategy. If people wanna go passed they can, go ruin your tyres for all I care, I'm Sunday driving keeping it all as smooth as possible. A right Norman.

Im all in for tyre saving - me and Jonzster had a great battle, both on different laps of tyres and pace, made it more challenging and fun 👍

I remember one point you saying in TOCA saying "you didn't like the way I went about it" - I.e. Overtaking wasn't up to standards.
Just saying - you almost took me off twice on the same straight

Just think about it - its a long race

'Almost', - because I swerved to avoid you. Could have been anyone anyway, f'cked up my braking, not much to it. Thats the end of this.....

Yeah - you went too deep, I saw and moved over more, and 2nd time was luck you avoided me.
No shame in making a mistake but I won't say you were super clean. I made my mistakes but accept them

Just what you did on Monday - very aggressive from what I saw and got. I know new season and stuff, but any reason to label people when drifting? Maybe they have a problem or struggling to get any rear grip? I think it was wrong to believe that the "D1ck" out of control was being stupid, and I saw you out of control - so just goes against what you said really or basically an aim for you next race

24 laps will take away the focus on tyres a bit from the pm's ive recieved most are happy with that.:dopey:

Fine with it 👍 Did a bit of testing today, no real flying laps done yet. Struggling with setups - this is harder than the Alfa and always get it right after my qualifying lap :rolleyes:

Remember s3 - turn 1, everytime I'd get past you down the inside but always run wide!! :lol: Went on for 8 laps? Really hard to pass you in the old Lexus - gonna be harder with the new one now :scared:
