You are right I loved watching him at Oulton park in the late 90's. I hope his driving skill somehow come to me for this series!
 
I'm new to touring car racing. I was born righ when the super touring years were ending, and we don't get much touring car stuff in the US. I watch the BTCC and WTCC over the winter but there reruns :(

Any news on this/thread going up etc.? Only 3 weeks until Lotuses finish.
 
I guess we're just waiting for the lotuses, when the thread get up this will attract interest, judging by how many signing up when this thread first came.

Got quite excited seeing this, 90s BTCC was brilliant. Unfortunately the cars put a dampener on things. Of course this is due to the lack of appropiate cars in GT5.

Would of been brilliant with the 155 2.0, Mondeo V6, Cavalier, Vectra, Volvo 850 estate, Renault Laguna, Peugeot 406, BMW 320 all the quite ordinary saloons that made the racing absolutely brilliant.

There is a Mondeo and an Alfa 155 in the UCD.

I saw a Mondeo in the UCD, and I'm pretty sure I saw a 155 in it.

Nope. The only 155 is the DTM car.


There's a 166, but that is a larger car. :)

There's a 156, which is a newer version of the 155.
 
There is no Mondeo in GT5.
 
I swore there was...must be something else. It looks jus like the Mondeo from my memory.

I would have stayed loyal to Ford, but my teammate wanted the 4WD. :grumpy:






I don't mind really Carb. the Evo. is probably faster too.

hmm i may end up living to regret my choice of the front wheel drive accord, but cannot be bothered to search properly for the merc evo.

Artwork got delayed due to a lack of time, I'm going to work on it tonight as I'm free and after Friday, I'm off for 2 weeks so I can design the thread.
