Lol Geeky, just PM if you need me when Rally isn't able to show up

I look forward to work with you :) would be nice to have a reserve in the room for when my net goes down

56.1 best here @ cape not sure I can squeeze anymore out the girl.

I tried to do the checks as smoothly as possible :nervous:
It wasn't the smoothest but wasn't bad.
I think we all got confused over the new qualifying system, it will be something to get used to :) It's out that or suffle grids

Points and results will be up in a moment or 2

The simpliest thing I've seen is finish a 1 laper with pole guy finishing last and the last guy finishing 1st kind of order, and set the room to Rev Grid. You already know this won't fail' 👍

seems cape ring will be the closest race so far...

But then surely people will do a slow lap to get pole 💡

I would just drive the other way.

Describe to me what oversteer is because i think your getting confused with understeer.

Oversteer is when your ring piece resembles the opening sequence of Bonanza.

Oversteer is when your ring piece resembles the opening sequence of Bonanza.

Oversteer makes the car drift. Understeer makes it stiff and not go were the wheels usually point which = massive tire wear on the front wheels.

FWD cars will NEVER do that unless you hold the handbrake up.

This pole laps shows more oversteer than understeer :).

Look at this :). Oversteer though T1 and alot of other corners 👍. Seriously BTCC/WTCC cars are setup to oversteer ;).

In this there are alot of un aided slides like Muller at 0:17, Howell at 0:27 and 1:09, Gio at 0:56 and many more :p.

I'm a huge BTCC and touring car fan so sorry if this is OT . Also most of the slides at Knockhill I seen first hand 👍 Howell and Sheds were 2 crackers ;).

Lol, no it's a staged 1 lap finish to set the grid to everyone's q times. If that makes sense? After you record everyone's times from the Q session, you have them finish a 1 lap in backwards order from their q times so GT5 will automatically set the grid because of the rev grid order'

The BMW is RWD. therefore it can drift

For the record zed, I was taking the pee.

I've been driving modified japanese cars for 12 years or more so I'm fully aware of oversteer and understeer thank you.

Doh!

Trying to find a CSR Elite on ebay is near impossible! they must be a good wheel since no one is selling one?

Hey guys can I still join the BTCC ? I really love this kind of series.
Thank you.

Sorry but Zed did you even watch the vid... If not your one thick skulled dude.. The cover of the vid is actualy Knockhill 2008. Where the Halfords Honda gets put sideways by the VXR Vauxhall and has nothing to do with the BMW, I know as I was there ;). I mean if you watched it Boardman in the dry at the fastest bend in British motorsport goes completely sideways and it takes an age for him to save it on full lock... (Thuxton)

Great vid of a fantastic race geek, kudos dude.

it's 1up it's 1up! :D

btw you missed the 2 consecutive crashes of the bosz on my back when a friend of us 2 was calling on the phone :D

12:35 wtf man. No penalties being dished out at all? Also a lot of weaving on the straights. Im sorry but if this keeps happening then I wont be racing anymore...

My battle with rolo is an excellent example of clean racing and not using the side of the opponents car to complete the pass...

we live nearby with the bosz. He rammed 3 times and sent me out... that was the end of it. (geeky missed it). I recovered from the aforementioned crashes and brushed it off him.

we talk about it in front of abeer at my home a lil later and had a lot of laughs :D

he said he had some phone calls along the race that had him miss the brake points. :P

I dunno, I think that BosZ was taking the normal line, whilst karsten cut the chicane, and therefore when karsten regained the track he tried to regain the normal line in front of BosZ, therefore with him in the way. In my eyes it didn't really leave BosZ much option other than to hit him.

In any case, since karsten cut the chicane anyway I think both moves cancel each other out.

Also the weaving needs to stop, and the pit exit white lines need to be abided....If we race by OLR rules we need to review when they arent followed right? Why have stewards otherwise...

Is the weaving happening when a car is directly behind another or when there's enough of a gap for it not to be considered as a battle?

Agreed about the white lines, although there was an oddity at GP/D where the automatic release from the pits basically positioned the car to cross the line without much time to correct.

I've done a 56.0 at Cape Ring Inside, but realistically my best is 56.2-56.4. Understeer again the biggest issue.

The weaving happened when I was slip streaming...The pit exit is damn easy to correct mate.....

Another quality vid geeky 👍
