One min guys, DC'ed and game crashed.
 
Wow, that was stupid. While I was in pit lane I paused and pressed Exit by accident. No matter though, my driving in Race 1 was utterly appalling anyway. So sorry to everyone I hit... my brain is not working right now.

Give me a 10-second penalty for Race 2... that's if my brain functions enough to not accidentally quit this time.
 
I had to leave. From next week I am no longer able to participate in race 2. Race 1 is a go for me but not race 2.

During the race my dad came home... I was shouting to my bro and sis as I was babysitting to open the 🤬 Door :lol:

Unlucky bunch of races for me, blocked pushed off, But I have never shouted at the TV before... EVER! :lol:

You drove well from what I saw :)

Quite manic tonight, overtaking Cunny with 2 wheels on the grass in race 1, then getting a bit sideways while in the lead in the middle of race 2... nearly pooed myself
 
Im applying for a Race Steward role. these accidents are just ridiculous. Dive bombs and what not. When racing in a pack you must adjust your brake zone. You have to brake slightly earlier. Also I dont think some people understand the concept of overtaking. It is supposed to be a slick time efficient move. Meaning you should not waste much time overtaking and let the leaders run away.

Please let me know if its ok geeky to be steward...

Nicely put KK, never thought about over taking like that. The piece of ham was a sitting duck on the straights tonight but was mega in the corners (took geeky and karsten, i think, through Ascari)but people still wanted to take me mid corner.

First off, apologies again to those I hit with my wayward driving earlier. Heat messes with my head...

There was a test race tonight at Deep Forest, here are the results:

Thank you to Julle, rally, karsten and BosZ for attending tonight, and to those who stayed but couldn't race. However, as welcome as that is, I'm beginning to doubt this test racing is the best way to do this.

rally has added the Seat Ibiza Cupra '04 and there were two other cars to the fray this evening, and that was completely fine, but I really think that should be enough new cars now. The '90 Primera was too slow, and I still don't think the '02 Accord is as relevant as the '00. The Ibiza I will run just to see how fast it is. By adding the Ibiza to the list, that makes it 22 cars now, I think that's enough.

Honestly, I feel the best way to do this is if one or two drivers actually race proposed S3 cars in S2 meetings. It saves so much hassle, it really does. rally has said he's been thinking about giving up the SC role in favour of doing this, and if Rob is actually retiring from the series after this, then I may do the same.

So, basically, is it true Rob that you're not racing any more after today, and Geeky, if that's the case, are me and rally allowed to enter proposed S3 cars from Route 5 onwards?

disastrous end... damaged him and wasted what could have been easily my best result :( damn

i was second at half race T_T

race one on the other hand was a nightmare! rolo had a liking to me, in the first 4 laps everything poossible happened...


a last thing; sc61 started both race way to up in the grid. i said that but nobody voiced it

I voiced it, but it may have been a game glitch. sc says he was in the right place, so let's wait and see what happens about that.

I know I did :indiff: ... it's like I completely failed to react when the car ahead braked... missing Deep Forest left me rather race-rusty 👎

Sorry mate. I didnt see sc61jgw but I guess its true since your the second person I've read this from.

Also

We restarted race because rabbit wasnt on track when race started. We started 10-15 mins late and as a result I had to quit race 2 because I had other plans. Would have been fine if rabbit joined track initially.
 
Perhaps such problems could be avoided if a 5-minute Automatic Start Cycle is enabled between races. That way everyone knows the score and has time to do whatever for 5 mins. Could also have other advantages in that drivers have a little time to cool down in between races and have a little break.

Still, rabbit's new to the series and may not have known the scheduling. Fair enough.

i think that if we actually start at the right time there's no problems... we always start 15-20 mins later :P

and i'm always around 30 mins earlier to be safe... annoying i would say :P
