seems i can't tune the car for this track... i keep hitting around 1.26 with a few high 1.25.

i guess i'm a bit demotivated by now :P

Perhaps you can do 1:20s if you're a really good driver. Realistically it's probably going to be closer to the pack. If it isn't then something will have to be done.

Cars like these "plant and goes" talents not everything but hey you've done the work sure theres nothing to worry about.

I've done some work yeah, but definitely not all the work that could have been done. I hope nobody ever thought I was going to do all of it myself.

I think we're only really going to know the performance of each car once we all hit the track for S3.

I actually thought i was on the wrong tyres the gap was so big, guess default setups suck fella.:dopey: I love Cupra R's maybe thats it.:)

It could be difficult to resolve the issue actually. The SEAT I think is underweight when it's stock and there may not be enough ballast left to slow the car down if it's too fast?

I guess the most extreme scenario is just to replace the car altogether with one of the runners-up from the vote, if it's just incurably fast.

If the differences are down to driver skill then fair enough - you'll be winning all the races! :)

I dont think its skill Rolo tbh the races we had in this class of car were pretty close, setup knowledge possibly as you shouldn't be 4 seconds of my A/R time in all honesty.:)

To be honest I wasn't really trying when I ran the car earlier. If I really put my mind to it, set-up the car properly and drove properly (hitting the apexes etc), I'd probably have it down to 22s or 23s. But still a pretty big gap even then.

Wait whats this talk of a seat around A/R?

In short, johnboy's somehow gone fast enough to destroy the field if he was gonna race with it tomorrow. A touch of genius, methinks :sly:

Oooh, why what time did he set?

A 1:20.something.

You can, I think there's space. You won't be allowed to score championship points though. rallymorten's doing some non-championship running in a SEAT, under the 'SEAT Motorsport' banner.

A reminder of tomorrow's grid:

IMPORTANT: Tomorrow's Race 1 Grid:

1. weezy_7
2. rallymorten (ineligible for points, if he uses the SEAT)
3. rabbit_9-8
4. SKD420
5. johnboy-1975 (ineligible for points, if he uses the SEAT) (?)
6. skengdigi
7. sc61jgw
8. karsten_beoulve
9. gedi69
10. Geeky30
11. JulleGaard
12. rolo912011 (?)
13. JoeTruckV8
14. cunny17
15. killa_kandy

Was gonna say hardly seems fair on those going for the championship:guilty: How many laps for HSR and whats the pit window?:)

HSR? You mean Autumn Ring? :P

I don't know, geeky hasn't confirmed laps or pit window yet.

Edited post above with your grid slot, if you race jb.

Sorry mixed up with V8's.:dunce:

And oh thats handy not.:ouch:

Ah so Rallys running a Cupra aswell huh.:sly::sly:

Not handy, yet pretty standard.

If he turns up this week - he's been threatening to since SSR5 :P

Oh lol ok we'll see might have a date with a pint glass if not i'll drop in for a one off:tup:. Could do with those laps for testing though the Seat was a little rubber heavy earlier.:nervous:

OK sweet, like I say if you do race remember you're 6th on the grid for Race 1.

I won't be racing tomorrow either, since I'm out eating pizza.

Right, bad news; I won't make it this week, either.

Some rather important stuff has come up. Wish me luck!! If I get this job, I'll be able to attend college in Sept. 2013-June 2015, to become a mechanic. :) It will lead to my goal in life (racing,) so, my attendance tomorrow is a small sacrifice.

I think I'll change my entry in what's just about the 11th hour, I've recieved a lucrative offer from Ebay Motors. An offer I can't refuse  V8 can have the Seat if they want :)
