Yep stage 3 would only be effective with more hp, they can be checked if you are willing to spend the time doing so the odd random check is advisable to eek out any scoundrals.:sly:

How do you check which turbo people use? Power and torque curves for all cars with all kinds of turbos? :scared:

Wow are you eating the tyres? I have no wear issues whatsoever doing 1:24s... Are you running very aggressive toe and camber?

Will push harder and see if it's just because I'm driving too slowly.

No front toe, but get a bit of understeering through the sharp long bends, maybe it's with me the problem lies :dunce:
Front camber= 2.2 i think, can't remember
1.8 in the back

Hello, be afraid, i'm here

That's odd I am running -0.02/0.05 and just did a 13 lap run. Lap 13 was the cliff so to speak, got slidey.

However I did do a 1:23.104! At 290HP/1300kg. The rest of the laps were between 1:24.1 and 1:23.9

Did a second 13 lap run and drove faster - fastest a 1:22.998 up until lap 10 I was doing 1:23.1-1:23.8. Lap 11 saw me make a big mistake and 12 and 13 were high 24.8ish

Even with Rob retiring I can count at least 13 cars when at the max:tup:

Its amazingly fast (unbelievable it was done with DS3. I use a DFP wheel) :) And thank you again for the setup. Will share it with the rest of the EBay motors team :)

Piss heads happy with their Integra progress working on dialing out the heavy understeer!! And look forward to the challange from the BMW's and others ofcourse.;)

What car are you using?:dopey:

I see Volvo well theres a bit more there i tried it and got regular 123's best was 123.6 i think.

The Civic I know for a fact will go faster. I can do a 1:22.5, maybe faster. Has the speed on the straights - however not sure what the "true" time is because my Civic has a Stage 3 Turbo so that might account for a few tenths?

Thanks for the offer Morten, but I can only race on 18 May, 25 May and 1 June. June 4 I start a new job and will be working come race time. I'll just stick it as a privateer. I've repainted the Bimmer in Hugger Orange. It was the paint that made me go faster!

Civic with a good setup which looks like you have will without doubt be the fastest car here stage 1 turbo may even help!!:scared:
Question is by how much faster, race pace is always very different than single lap pace but if they open up a lead its probably goodnight..:grumpy:

Maybe let the other cars (not the civic or BMW) have 305 hp. You said that lobbies couldn't limit hp to 300 hp. Then leave the civic at 300 hp or 295. But geeky must decide whether to leave it as it is or change things a bit. But then again we haven't had a "real" race yet.

The thing to try then is limit Binmers to 295 because that can be set via regulations and then 305 for everything else, but give the Civic a weight penalty of say 30-60kg to account for the extra power.

You can limit minimum weight so at load in you have to play with the regs and load in order of lowest BHP and weight penalty first, so BMWS, then set 305 HP and civic weight, civics load in then remove the weight and the rest load in. So long as everyone stays on track it'll be fine.

That should work, is definitely worth trying:tup:

i guess we'll fix it after the first race... the proble is that there's a wide gap between cars running 1.23 and 1,24.5 average and cars running 1.25 and 1.26 average :P

that means at least 30-40 seconds gap at the end of the race.

In any case let's race and see.

Thats fine as long as nobody returns to the pits to change their setup etc.:grumpy:
Having so many cars is very ambitious and on paper great fun but to level this many out equally would probably take weeks!:scared:

The weight penalty sounds reasonable, as it is very light.
The loading order seems to be a good way to obey the rules.
We should try contacting geeky about this.

Exactly, and we haven't even begun thinking about that different cars have natural strengths and weaks on each track
