Yeah, sorry about the short notice. Next season I'm planning on participating in every race :)

since it's time for press releases....

Karsten from Team Volvo announces that he might not be able to participate on the SSR5 race due to annoying issues with his wife, internet connection and lack of performance on the track. Another press info will be released as the race time approaches.

So, seeing as there's just a little over 24 hours to we see a SC make appearance in this Series, I thought I wanted to provide you with some useful hints to it. Please read and understand :)

Race starts:
Race 1 is no problem as the SC will not even think of making a lap time. So I'll start last.

As we use automatic reversing system for race 2, the SC will be on pole unless drivers disconnects/retires. Advise: SC will ghostify, allowing drivers to use that path. Drivers that may start ahead of SC will have to let all cars past like Zorrin did in test race 2.

SC periods:
When I see 3 or more cars spinning or being unnaturally slow or completely static, I will use text chat and post "sc", which means SC is going out immediately. Any abuse of the SC will be heavily penalized.

The SC will wait in or just around turn 1, which means the full-course-yellow counts from the start-finish line. This means, you may overtake until you pass that line. Any passes after that are not given back immediately will be investigated and may result in disqualification. Only exceptions are if a driver, untouched, loses control of his/her car and goes spinning. The other being cars a lap down. Behind the SC, you are allowed to overtake cars that are a lap down as long as this doesn't improve your position in the race. Again, illegal overtaking will be investigated.

I will try to maintain a speed of about 60mph/100kph. When I'm about to leave for a green flag, I'll accelerate heavily at least 30 seconds before I assume the leader will reach pit lane. When I accelerate, the leader will work as SC. Again, the overtake rule counts until the finish line is passed.

So, that should be it. Hope it's not too much to handle :nervous:

i don't see much problems morten! You might be useful if someone crashes into me to get back in the race :D in any case i think i'l be there tomorrow.

also shame on you captainhelmet :D you should have sticked to the trash bin you choose like i did along with m3 :P (/jk but for next season let's try to stick to a car and keep it so that we can have more teams racing)

Yes thankyou Rallymorten. Mr Safety Car
Really appreciate it :)

Anyone care to share a top mph figure? I think we are going to hit a faster mph than Monza with the down hill aiding our speed'

azidahaka
i think i get around 220, more or less like monza

 he said miles (220kph is about 140mph while 220mph is something as impossible as 350kph!) :)

@Johnboy, not as for what I know but I reckon it'll be about 10 laps

Are team orders OK. If for some strange reason i'm in P1 and JB in P2 can i slow and let him by for the win. Although if the situation arose i might out brake myself into the last turn.

Now you just made it sound bad, I think he's preparing his revenge right now :)

to crash on me he must go slower than me :D my volvo is 3 second per lap off-pace, so no risks :D

i guess they are allowed... no-one said anything about it and it would be impossible to check if a mistake or slowing down is made intentionally or not.
