The CarModel Field is still showing Horsepower...in the submit form

I'm sure it is just that unterminated string, and it should display like this :)

(Please excuse the tripod banner at the top of the page)

I'm still seeing the same problem with editing an existing time, that is the drop downs are returning to default.

May have already been mentioned, but in Simulation Mode, Nurburgring has enough time submissions to span onto a second page, yet I don't see how to navigate to the second page of times?

I've submitted a few times, and I was wondering if the "Simulation" section is for Arcade times also? I don't see any Arcade section so I'll just put them in there for now.

^No, I don't think the simulation mode is for arcade times, but I may be wrong. Jordan was constructing a thing for arcade times.

I thought the drivetrain was going to be stored with the car

We've got 2 FF Cobras with different weights and powers here. He's obviously picked the wrong car.

Alright there's either a bug or I'm completely blind and can't see the button to submit times. No matter which section I click on (GT3, 4, TT, Lic, etc.) i get a screen similar to this:

If I click on the register button it recognizes me and says I have already registered and is asking me if i've forgotten my password and whatnot. I just changed my password earlier today, so maybe that is the problem:confused:

Also, when I clicked on GT4 arcade mode, there was nothing there but a blank page.

That is because you cannot select your car. :dunce:

You are blink, joking. To submit times, click "Submit your Time Here" under the pages you went through to get where you are. It is between history and the white table with users times.

tried posting a time on autumn mini ring and it keeps requesting my login.
Keep up the good work me and my pals discussed opening up a site....... until we found this one!!

I have been checking the GT times, seems nobody has posted yet. The cars at the start of the list seem to be doubled, that is the Astin Martin is repeated below itself. The cars down at the end of the list don't appear affected.

I have fatest lap times and fatest race times, however these are during races against the AI and sometimes during a lap I will go off the circuit, or smash into something, another car or wall etc. Does this mean that I can't post the times I have?

Looks to me like you aren't logged in. It should say click here to submite where it says in your picture "register now".

You may need to check "Remember me" or the similar option for logging in.

I'm sorry, Tacet_blue - I must be really thick, but I still don't quite understand what you are trying to point out here.

Hmmm...yes, it appears that this is still an issue. I'll have it looked at.

No, someone brought that up but drivetrain was not stored with the car.

Please be more specific. This goes for everyone, really...

When pointing out a specific error, PLEASE BE VERY SPECIFIC as to exactly where this error is occuring (in what game, etc.). The Leaderboards are very large and it is extremely difficult for me to find exactly what you are referring to.

I have fatest lap times and fatest race times, however these are during races against the AI and sometimes during a lap I will go off the circuit, or smash into something, another car or wall etc. Does this mean that I can't post the times I have?
No, you cannot post those times. To review our rules:

# Two Wheels - Two or more wheels must remain in contact within the clearly defined track surface or rumble strips at all times, unless the car is airborn.
# No Contact - No section of the car can come into contact with any obstacle or vertical surface at any time. This includes but is not limited to walls, tire barriers, guardrail, and other vehicles.

You may need to check "Remember me" or the similar option for logging in.
This is correct. If anyone is having trouble staying logged in, please log out and log back in using the "Remember Me" option.

 You are certainly not thick. It looks like someone has fixed the problem since I posted that ;)
It was this line:
<select name="p99_vehicleid"><option value="7101" " >N/A (License Test Car)</option></select>
The extra quote after 7101 was causing the problem.

The difference can be seen in the attachments below...all fixed now so no problem any more ;)

However..I still get the same problem when I edit my existing time....all dropdowns go back to default, like the region goes to NTSC Japan and drive goes to FF etc.

If you hit the wall or run onto the grass your lap would not count because it wasn't clean.

He has that in this list - https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showpost.php?p=1589503&postcount=20

Yeah, I still seem to be getting this too in Internet Explorer. I'll see what the programmer can do, but he's pretty spent at the moment.

Alright, the GT3 Arcade mode is ready to go!

I can understand that for OLR but I'm talking about fastest lap whilst driving against the AI over 5, 10, 30 or 60 laps. The lap would be clean but other laps might not be so clean, especially when trying to pass cars or back markers. They just don't get out of the way like they should!!!!

I think the answer is going to be race the Time Trial tracks with the fastest car and submit that time, but then surely that is different from the Simulation game that is listed?

In the GT simulation times for Autumn Ring, the list of cars seem to be doubled. The 1st car is an Astin Martin DB7, the 2nd car is an Astin Martin DB7, the 3rd car is Astin Martin DB7 (Prize Car), the 4th car is Astin Martin DB7 (Prize Car) etc etc... This continues down to the Nissan R33 Skyline GTS25t Type M which has 2 entries and then the Nissan S13 Silvia K's 1800cc '88 has only 1 entry. I have also noticed this on other car listings for other tracks under GT Simulation, namely Grand Valley Speedway & Autumn Ring Mini. I haven't check all tracks but suspect they are all the same. I also believe that this might occurr who GT2 simulation times entry but this is unconfirmed at this moment.

Hope that is clearer.

TMM, you're talking about the vehicle model list on this page? It looks OK to me.

Simulation Mode does not necessarily mean that you have to perform the best lap during a race. Simulation Mode (which, in my opinion, should be changed to Gran Turismo Mode just to avoid further confusion) means that you can take your own vehicle, with your own choice of mods, on a circuit and enter the "Practice", which corresponds to Time Trials in Arcade Mode.

This way, you do not have to run an entire race and have it "clean" (I don't see why you would want to have the whole entire race clean anyway, just the lap you submit needs to be).

If you want to submit a time for Simulation Mode, go in Gran Turismo Mode, pick your vehicle of choice, enter whichever course section you want (City Courses, Original Courses, etc.), pick the course, select Practice, and start lapping. Just make sure that the lap time you submit comes from a lap that abids by the OLR rules.

Maybe i'm just not seeing it, but I can't find the Chrysler 300C on the list...

Is it just me or did the kilogram to pound converter disappear?
Yes, it seems to have vanished for some unknown reason. It should be back now.

Nope, TMM is looking at this one.
Thank you for the clarification, fixed.

Maybe i'm just not seeing it, but I can't find the Chrysler 300C on the list...
Which list? Please be more specific.

What is the difference between Time Trials and Arcade Mode?

Just noticed that there are both entries (for GT4), on this page:

GTPlanet Leaderboards

As far as I know, Time Trials are accessed from Arcade Mode, so they should be the same thing.

No need, in my opinion, to put them both, as it would only spread the submissions in two different places, making it hard to have a continuum.

The Wizard.

On the all of the lists to submit times for GT4, you are missing the Infiniti G35 Coupe, you have the sedan and FX45, but not the coupe. Also, the 1990 Infiniti G20 is missing.

In GT4 you can play under time trials or single player race within arcade mode.

In GT4 you can play under time trials or single player race within arcade mode.

I see, I thought that might have been the reason.

So, in Arcade Mode you submit the times you obtain during a Single Race, while in Time Trials you submit the times you obtain in the "solo" races against the clock, in the Time Trial section of Arcade Mode, correct?

Then, if this is the case, my suggestion would be to write it like this:

Arcade Mode - Single Race
Arcade Mode - Time Trial

This would avoid the confusion, even if I still think that having one single section for times obtained in Arcade Mode would be better: this way all the times submitted would be easily accessed and seen under one single leaderboard.

Yes, you are correct.

I found a carlist from Polyphony Digital at their website - http://www.us.playstation.com/Content/OGS/SCUS-97328/Site/

Jordan, don't forget you are missing the 2003 Infiniti G35 Coupe in the GT4 area.
You are also missing the 1990 Infiniti G20.

When creating my GT4 gamesave for the WRS, I used a carlist made by TB that you used to make up the GT4 leaderboard. After getting started, I realized there were a few mistake on it, especially when it came to the Mazda's, so I used the carlist from the GT4 website and am checking this site against it. So far I have found -

Missing Cars -
Acura DN-X 2002
Alfa Romeo GTV 3.0 V6 24V 2004
Audi Auto Union V16 Type Streamline 1937
Audi Nuvolari quattro 2003
Audi Pikes Peak quattro 2003
Chaparral 2 Race Car 1967
Chaparral 2J Race Car 1970
Chevrolet Camaro LM Race Car 2001
Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Coupe 1997
Chrysler 300 2005
Ford GT LM Race Car 2002
Infiniti G20 1990
Infiniti G35 Coupe 2003

You have two Fiat 500F 1965's, but one of them should be Fiat 500 1972. Also, there should be a 500R 1972, there is no such car in the game. You should have a Fiat 500F 1965, Fiat 500L 1969, and a Fiat 500 1972.

Instead of Audi R8 '01, it should be Audi R8 Race Car 2001.
Instead of Caterham Fireblad '02, it should be Carterham Seven Fire Blade 2002.
Instead of Chevrolet Sting Ray '63, it should be Chevrolet Corvette Coupe (C2) 1963 - The only car with Sting Ray should be Chevrolet Corvette Stingray L46 350 (C3) 1969.
Instead of Ford GT Lm Edition '02, you should just have Ford GT 2002. Also, Ford GT LM Spec II 2004 needs to be Ford GT LM Race Car Spec II 2004.

It should be Citroen, not Citro%n.
The Ford GT40 Race Car 1969 and Ford GT Concept 2002 are sharing the same line, they should be on separate lines.

I will continue tomorrow.
