Bug when doing time trial

I was on my 9th lap when the game no longer registered any sector times, and on my 10th I set my record, and golding the event. Good I thought, but when I wanted to return to GT home, nothing appeared when I pressed start, the game just paused, but no menu came up. Pressing start again would un-pause the game. I had to quit the game from the XMB and my times were lost.

Same thing happened to me several times.

I guess it's a common bug.
