Is drifting racing though? (Can of worms open, an me trying to get out of helmet eating!!) Or is it not a bit like gymnastics, points for doing "stuff" but not who does or gets there fastest?

Can you tell I haven't tried drifting yet??!

What's this got to do with the thread you are posting in right now ?

Do you have problems reading thread titles ? Or do you just spam wherever you like ?

Replying to something someone said to me in reply to a previous post TJC. It's called a conversation.

Spam is defined as "Verb:
Send the same message indiscriminately to (large numbers of recipients) on the Internet."

So IF you have ever met one of those stick-to-the-OP obsessives who pop up in many threads/conversations and like to point it out instead of joining in, THEN you have met a spammer.

Peace out
;)

Because you're new to GTP forums , and maybe the internet also as you had to Google what spam is ... conversations in these threads are supposed to be on topic . Therefore , not only was your conversation irrelevant and off topic , it's breaking the forum guidelines that you're posting on .

Oh , and the quote button exists for a reason by the way 👍

just relax man, 85% of this thread is off topic. you did kind of single him out :)

i hate the bugatti

Feel bad for Praiano to be honest , he starts a thread and gets all sorts of dribble about ABS , drifting and male fellatio

But on topic : Yeah , tricky car in my opinion . How's the tune going Praiano ?

Geez thanks for your critique of my efforts and I won't pull you up for being off topic yourself as its tiresome when people do that. If this thread had stuck to topic it would've ended a while back. Maybe take issue with the first person who went off piste eh?

Like I said. I was replying to something someone wrote to me personally and you butting in off topic (dash it there I went and did it) wasn't required or helpful. If you are a moderator then close the thread fella, as the original chat stuff ended back a while ago. If you aren't a moderator, then maybe stop trying to moderate maybe.

Now as for the Bugatti on the Ring, I might give ABS and non ABS a go just to throw caution to the wind and I shall definitely be having a peak at the very reliable Mr Priaino's excellent tunes to boot. Oh and def RS for me.

Cheers all
(feel sooooo proud I managed this post without needing the Internet to help me or anything!! Didn't know that was against forum rules also. Naughty me)

I can't help feeling that it would be easier to drive if it didn't have such a high threshold of horsepower (1260 HP) and minimum weight (1424 KG!!).

For who want to give it a try here is the quick tune. Not so quick but i pretend make it better with your feedback. This was the purpose of this thread and i hope it will be like this in the future.
This tune only work good on the ring.
The gearbox is a classic tranny trick with the top speed (upper right) at 311 mph=500kmh
You can set it like this if you want too.

F.G 5.000
top speed 350 kmh=217 mph
1-2.332
2-1.678
3-1.276
4-1.024
5-0.842
6-0.711
7-0.616
then F.G 3.250

Good luck, have fun, waiting for your feedback.
Have a good day.

I'll give this a try, Praiano, because I'm curious, but I doubt i'll do as well as a 6.05. I can still give it a go and see what I can do. The Veyron never gave me much enjoyment with any tune, so it might take a couple of hours to get used to it, and get round the ring cleanly, lol.

Yeah, since the track is unsuitable for a run for the cars weighing too much weight and reckless in the corners, and the veyron has exactly the opposite characteristics to the positive requirements on the track... Obviously if you genuinely want to take a ride of it on the impregnable course you have to go with the car with utmost care so that you don't get easily pushed off from the path to plunge into the barrior at a high velocity.

Yeah I struggled to get a clean lap, and when I did I only got a 6.42 - it was so difficult to be fast but also stay on the track, and I gave up trying to a second clean lap, couldn't do it. Will try again later. Oh and this was with SRF off. Found it even harder with it on.

I had a crack at this car when testing for Harvey's Tonnes of Fun, I'll give this a drive, but you know I'll not match your pace. My nerves will be shattered..!!

Did i heard the word Nordschleife? :dopey:

Havent noticed this thread until now :)
I tried it for quick session, quite challenging car, im starting to see the limit but theres still some place to cleanup, took some time to figure how to use the power, and the exponential oversteer! :scared:

So far 6:00.318, sub 6 is possible with more time, id be happy with a 5:59.999

I used a part of your tune Laurent,

but i modified it to what i thought would suit my style, i like agressive turn-in.

Heres what i changed over your tune:

-I used stock suspension (react softer over bumps)
-Ballast 80, position 50
-No chassis reinforcement
-initial torque on the diff set at 5 for rear
-brake bias 6/7
-torque distribution: 40/60

i used your transmission setting wich are great:tup:

Nice lap Praiano. I put some time into this again a few days ago. Best lap of 6:02.775 using a variation of your tune. Thats about my limit right there. White knuckle drive all the way thru, lol. No aids except ABS 1. Clean lap run according to WRS rules. Sorry no video as I have no way of making one. Thats my next purchase tho so if anyone has any good suggestions, just go ahead and PM me. Peace.

Hahaha, i was sure you'll smell the ring perfume...:) Very nice time. I'll try your modifications, and publish a final tune after this.
Thanks a lot Mike.

A friend that i've tuned a car for an asian tournament send one for me 3 months ago, but i think some postman take it for him on the way to Brasil. It was coming by ship and nothing till now. I need one too, but it's expensive here.
Have a good night everybody.

No problem Laurent 👍:)
An HDPVR is awesome, or any similar capture device.

Have a good weekend!

Cool, thanks Praiano. I'll definately look into that. Finally got my settlement check from my accident so I'm ready to spend some money, lol. So far, I've bought a laptop, a better TV, XBox 360, Forza 4, CSR Elite wheel with pedals, pre-ordered Forza Horizon and the new NASCAR game coming out. After nearly 2 years of being broke, its finally nice to have money again, lol. Now, if they could just fix my back problems, Id be set, lol. Guess you can't have everything tho.

Been a while but i decided to upload the 6:00.318 lap even though its not the best the car could give, i had some errors, i was starting to get a feel of the car, its an insane car!

Now that's what I'm talking about. Good job, Mike, good job. Look forward to you ironing them last few kinks out. Sub 6 minutes can't be that far away now, folks...

Mike, may I suggest, you take your replay, actually, all your replays, to the respective car dealership CEO's, and get yourself some real good swag, perhaps even earn sponsorship money to go do this for real, or perhaps reward you with other incentives. Maybe Bugatti can even get you a car , it's not like they can't afford not to.

Take your talent to the next level, my friend, the door is there. Nice!

p.s stock car? tires? is SRF on?? at various moments, if that was me, with only ABS1 on the grass, my car would have done a 1080 spin in less than 50 meter travel, yet your grass runs stay straight like a wound up slingshot, hehe.

I don't see how there is "easily a full second still in that lap". Maybe one or two curb hops caused you to be maybe a little light for a small amount of time, but how is there anything else left in such a perfect lap???

I can see an easy second. There was still some track to use. The mistake at 4:15ish is the only reason it wasn't a 5:59 run. He could do it no problem, if the car was any type of enjoyable to drive. I almost put a different game in after driving this car, no fun whatsoever.

Thx for the kind comments!

its a really demanding car to drive and dont forgive a lot, but i might try it again later. :dopey:

At 6:00 flat i dont say its ''easy'' but there is definatly more time to shave spending more time. :) i normaly spend more time chasing the last seconds

Lambob, it was with ABS1 only, its tricky at first to drive on the grass but when you understand what to do its fairly easy.

:)
