Seeing as we're going to be without them for a while:

I'd be happy if PD released these as any of the team cars but if I were putting them in, I'd just put them out as the test cars or in black to allow the very talented livery makers show off their work without the wrong name on the car.

Again I'd release them as black or test cars but I'd be happy with any of the real liveries.

The track(s) would most likely be Twin Ring Motegi. Although I'd love to see Sportsland Sugo but might throw in CP Mine for a 20th anniversary throwback (for JGTC not the GT series).

I did a review of the last 12 updates and found out the consistencies, a Gran Turismo update consists of

45% - New Cars
19% - Cars that went from Standard to Premium
36% - Existing Premiums from previous games

An average update from the last 12 updates have averaged 5 cars per Update

So I extend a challenge to all GT Planet members. Come up with the best 5 car pack that would please all gran turismo players.

Just a few suggestions to flesh out the historic section, which is good, but could with a little effort be so much better :

First split up Group X - possibly by year so that cars race with other time relevant cars e.g. X67

X54 (currently Jaguar D Type and Aston Martin DB3S + due a Cunningham which won a GT award - Cunningham C6R came 3rd in 1954 Le Mans) DLC Ferrari 375 Plus (the winner of the 1954 Le Mans.

X67 (currently Ford Mark 4, Ferrari 330 P4, Jaguar XJ13) DLC Ford GT40 Mark 1 race car (winner Le Mans 1968 and 1969 - very similar cars competed in 66 and 67) DLC Chaparral 2F and Lola T70 MK3 (both DNF's 1967 Le Mans)

(Currently Porsche 356 Speedster + Due a Maserati A6GCS which won a GT award) DLC Porsche 356 Carrera Coupe and AC Ace Bristol (Le Mans class winner and competitor for Maserati)

(Current Ferrari 250 GTO) add Jaguar E Type Lightweight and AC/Shelby Cobra 289 (class winner and 7th overall 1963 Le Mans)

(Current Ferrari 250 GT) add Aston Martin DB4GT 1959 and Chevrolet Corvette C1 Fuel Injection 1960 (1st in class and 8th overall 1960 Le Mans)

(Current Mini Cooper S) add 1965 Ford Mustang notchback saloon, Jaguar Mark 2 saloon and Ford Cortina Lotus (competitors in BSCC/BTCC and ETCC)

(Current C2 Corvette and Shelby GT350 Mustang) add Ferrari 275 GTB and Bizzarrini P538 GT Strada - all 4 competed in the 1967 Le Mans and would give support to Class X67 for multi-class endurance races.
