I would go with AMD rather than Intel. But that's just my preference.

Yeah... after having an Intel mobo before I'd avoid it like the plague, a Celeron processor, and Win ME. :sick:

Yeah, I'd love to see Rome Total War on a machine like your's Pako. It looks good on my Dad's ATI X600, what about yours. :D

I haven't seen it yet on the 850XT yet, I just downloaded the F.E.A.R. demo last night and maxed everything out. This is a 'pretty' game from what I can tell so far. Will check out Rome: Total War......haven't forgot about it. :)
 
I've played Rome: Total War before. Its looks (and runs) stunning on my Athlon 64 3500+/850XT, but it isn't really my sort of game. Strange, I'm usually all for ancient Rome/Greece/etc games, but Rome: Total War just doesn't float my boat. :indiff:

Anyway, congrats on the new box Pako. 👍
