Building Motion Simulator

I've been working on building a racing simulator for awhile. I was thinking of doing some kind of motion simulator, but I don't have the budget for anything major. I was needing some advice of how to go about doing this. I was looking at the stage 1 simexperience, the GS 105, and the GS4. I was wondering about the stage 1 simexperience, can you mount that on any cockpit or only certin ones, and does the stage 1 simexp work by is self or do I need to have all the stages? My last question is I was looking at the D-box but I can't find a price for it, and can you just get the D-box sepreately?

This is kind of a strech for me, it's more of something that I would like but not sure how practical it is for me. I was planning to do kickers with simvibe but I would really like motion added to it. Thanks everyone for your advice.

I would have thought the best place to start is decide what budget you have ;)
I have 2dof motion (DIY) and SimVibe but if I was to start again I'm pretty sure I'd opt straight away for a Stage 1 Simxperience and added SimVibe :)
