This game is going to be great, so I felt like making a thread for it! :) It's really going to be a big game, but on another level: at school! Check out some of the trailers at IGN. Man, I can't wait until I have this game in my hands!

BTW there's no bad language or blood or death in this game, so I think it most likely will be rated T. 👍

Post your opinions on it please.

its already copping a fair bit of crap in australia for being violent etc... no idea what it'll be rated here, more than a few people have complained about it, but i'm still a little curious.

this game is fantastic, Rockstar have really done a good job bringing the school yard to consoles! :D

Tell me about it. A friend of mine rented it, and within less than an hour we found ourselves saying the following:

Me: "Dude, go kick that guy's ass!"
Him: "I can't. I'll get in trouble!"

what's a T rating?

it looks like a G:)
"T" stands for "Teen". I would have thought it would get higher rating, but I guess not... The game isn't even called "Bully" over here. They changed the name because of some complaints, so it's now called "Canis Canem Edit".

My brother has the game, and I must admit it looks better than I thought it would. It is certainly quite GTA-like still.

WTF?

I've been playing this since saturday and I'm loving it! The game uses San Andreas' engine, though the graphics look much better. Of course that's because the map is way smaller but great job nonetheless. It's Rockstar's best looking game on the PS2.

I really like the 'feel' of the game when I'm playing it. From the intro, to the missions, to the music and dialogs, it's all really well done.

The gameplay feels a little chunky at times but it's not that bad at all.

I can say this game was a nice surprise, giving Rockstar's non GTA and Midnight Club games usually stay in my shelf gathering dust.

'Cains Canem Edit' means Dog Eat Dog in Latin... sounds rubbish but do doubt it will be called that here in the UK when it arrives.

I think it looks like quite a fun game, its like GTA missions set in a school so you get up to all sorts of mischief! I dont get people are saying its colombine simulator! how is it, its like a 15 year old boy playing pranks! and if your child is so stupid as to copy the game and bully more kids (as an 18 rating they shouldnt be playing it anyway) then it just up to the parents to not expose them to it......

I think bullying is horrible but this is just a game, everything in GTA is horrible and people can still play it for what it is...

I cant wait to give it a go.....I hoping the graphics will be good..

It's out in the UK already - my brother has it. He bought it in HMV nearly a week ago.

Hahaha, its the uni effect...... the world doesnt exsist outside of campus!... will have to borrow it off a mate or something to give it a go...

This game is great, Very unique. can get very funny at times. this game is a great change from all the guns and killing people...i didnt think a game about school thats actually fun could be pulled off...but wow..i was mistaken..very fun game...

the graphics are like gta games...but the character models are much better..especially the facial expressions. they dont have that low poly look of gta games. also, the enviroments look a tad better then gta games.

It actually IS selling in the USA, seeing best buy. But, is it being sold in actual stores?

It's not coming out in USA because it has been banned

Really? When? Seeing as it came out on 17th October in the USA (a week before Europe) following a lawsuit filed by Jack Thompson which was for the state of Florida alone, and ruled against on 13th October...

What in the hell, why did it came in the news here then..??
Should i edit it out then?

But bestbuy is a website, is it being sold at an actual store too?

Where is here and what was the news outlet? Have a link? You will be hard pressed to ban anything in America nationwide. Locally it can easily be done, but nationwide will mean months of court cases and eventually the ban will be ruled unconstitutional.

And Best Buy is an American based store chain that happens to also sell through a Web site. If it were banned in America they would not sell it to me in America, even through their Web site.

Now, it is possible you heard about certain stores in the UK refusing to carry the game as according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bully_(video_game):
Wiki
Currys and PC World, both owned by DSG International plc said that they wish to not sell the game in the UK because it is "not appropriate for Currys' family-friendly image". The official statement lists what Currys believes is "the explicit link between violence and children" as the reason behind the ban, and continues: "We haven't taken this decision lightly, particularly considering the excellent relationship we have with Rockstar." However despite this decision other high street retailers including Game, HMV and Woolworths, Virgin Megastores have all announced an intention to stock the game.[9] Interestingly, DSG stores still stock other Rockstar games including the GTA series, and other violent games like Manhunt, which both have BBFC18 ratings, where Bully has a BBFC15 rating.

That could be true too FoolKiller, wikipedia knows all. I live in the netherlands btw, and it was on TV not on the net :)

Of course your news could have just been wrong too. All it takes if for one lazy reporter to get their facts wrong.
