I take it this meet is still going ahead even if there aren't eight of us?
 
I would assume so, as there are enough other participants, that a friend of a friend can be vouched for.

As a subsequent note, I do have online voice capability, and will therefore be yelling at any one who joins and doesn't participate.

If we're doing this, I'd like to build a list of on-line challenges that we haven't finished, so we can easily cherry pick the challenges we need to finish. I'm 7 challenges away from finishing all 490 challenges.
 
Yes still going ahead. If anything it will let us have some fun races. I will probably organise another meet at a different time to see if i can get the numbers or just hope that a few random people from online happen to join us.

Yeah I'd also like to do some online challenges... finishing them is the only thing I left to do in the game. I have 249/490 atm.

Also unless whoever is joining adds me to their psn I can't exactly know who to invite :)
 
Sign me up. I just need to figure out how the bikes work. Road crayon = no good. :D

edit: What gives? This blue hatchback freaks out and takes me out. No no, don't turn away from the danger. Hit the thing dead on! Maybe it'll roll over the hood and onto the roof. Also, my knees have horribly large hitboxes. I was shooting sparks every time I was within a meter of a pole. I wiped out by "brushing" against a car the same way too.

The bikes won't be for long. it will just be for 5-10 minutes while we meet and those who need it get the 10 miles ridden. After that we will be back to cars.
 
Damn I was totally up for this but I just realized I'll be at a superbowl party on sunday so I'll be out all day.
 
We may be stuck doing just races for the events. I have done a fair few races offline and a few races online and still can't create any events bar races. I thought it should have unlocked others by now.

I'd be happy to host the shebang, as I've unlocked everything and can easily adjust to what eveyone would like.

As for starting a list, I've been trying for more than a month to complete these last few Timed Challenge events.

5player - #9, & #10;
7player - #8, #9, & #10
8player - #1, & #10

If the group of us is up for it, It'd make my day to finish these off. Or a couple at least.

You just continue playing to unlock more right?

Correct. As you complete more events, find more billboards, jumps, and gates, you'll unlock more events.
 
Sorry i mean specifically for online. As at the moment all i can do are races.

Have already found over 220 gates, 60 billboards, unsure how many stunt jumps and so far have 30 races left till i get my burnout licence.

Surely something would have unlocked already?
 
Sorry my internet keeps disconnected me from the game so theres no point me carrying on as I'll just end all the challenges. I have no idea why it does it because my computer and all other games are fine..
 
I managed to knock one challenge off in nearly 2 hours of play. I'm up for next Saturday. As long as I can knock a few more of them off.

I now have
5player - #10;
7player - #8, #9, & #10
8player - #1, & #10
left to finish.
 
I just couldn't make a long enough jump in that Hyperion. :ouch:

I'll hook up my mic next time. Just the potty mouth bit. :D
 
Well that explains why nobody was there. I was sure 8pm gmt = 6am gmt+10 as that is exactly 10 hours difference.
 
I will post up details next day or 2 of another meet for saturday. Apologies to those who did come on and waited for me I was sure I had the time right.
 
Wildcats trophy meet

For anyone who has not got the meet at wildcats stadium trophy here is a chance to get it. And those that do have it please join anyway to help. Will also do a few races for those interested.
